A new Michael pix is in the gallery: As usual, just go to the gallery to see the bigger version. This picture, by the way, was used by his agent to get him parts. His vitae is also in the gallery.

Ooh, look, our man's played Algy in The Importance of Being Earnest! And Mozart in Amadeus - though I bet he'd make an excellent Salieri.

Very handsome as usual! (although I prefer him now of course) Cannot get more beautiful than what he is in present day.

I absolutely agree with Henry Gale, he would have been a wonderful Salieri (Amadeus is one of my favorite films, I wonder how much good would have been the theatrical version with Michael...)

Dear Henry Gale,
I see our Darling not as an "Algy" part, much more in the role of John "Jack" Worthing. He is he a shy character and the serious...giggle.
Ask Oliver Parker, there is be a reason to give Ruppert Everett the part of Algy.Do you see Michael as a womanizer, I don`t.Giggle.
With a lot of fun
greetings
Martina

But for some reason, I find Algernon so much more interesting! there is be a reason to give Ruppert Everett the part of Algy.Do you see Michael as a womanizer, I don`t.Giggle. Actually, I don't see Rupert Everett as a womaniser, if you know what I mean... ;D

Hi.
he is more than Colin Firth in this part, of course Colin has more charisma than Rupert no way, imagine the play.
Michael`s work will be the Colin part, believe me.

That's how I remember him...with the playful smirk too . Although I suspect this headshot post dates his Jax. days since an agent was mentioned.... how time passes...*sigh* I never would have guessed...but I knew he was destined for much better things. I'm very happy for him .

From this, I can see why he was targeted mainly for humorous parts. (though maybe this was in his television days...)
