Dark UFO has posted promotional photos for next week's episode "Confirmed Dead" which finally introduces the frieghter people. The link is at spoilerslost.blogspot.com/2008/02/episode-402-confirmed-dead-promotional.html I looked for new pics with Ben, but didn't see him there....until I saw him in one pic that could be very, very important. This picture is of the character of Miles, played by Ken Leung. Michael called him "a friend from New York" in one of his many interviews. In this picture, Miles is holding up a photograph.....can you recognize who's in that picture?  There was also an article in the last TV Guide about the new actors, and Leung said about Miles that "He's after something he can get on the island. In press releases for the third and fourth episode, it was spoiled that Locke would have a hostage, and Sayid and Kate would go out to get the hostage back. The press release for the third episode said that "Locke's hostage may be the key to getting off the island" Could it be that they want Ben back so they can hand him over to the frieghter team, and that they were promised rescue if they do it? |

I think that you're right. I had never thought they would be there specifically for Ben until I saw that picture. Who else could the hostage be? It also appears that somehow Ben has been off the island recently. The questions are endless. But I don't think he is wearing a dress. lol |

One of the ABC previews for next week is up at DarkUFO's and it shows just who the hostage is. And... It's not Ben. Locke's group comes across one of the new people who had just parachuted in and it's a woman. They keep her with them. One of the previews also shows what's in the metal case we've seen in the promo pics for next week. It shows they are up to something. There is also a preview of one of the flashbacks. It shows... the wreckage of flight 815 being found by divers. The only spoilers I allow myself too see now are the previews and sneak peeks from ABC and sometimes the promotional photos. |

DANG! and … I don't think Ben is wearing a dress. He's in an apron or protective lab type clothing. OK, we know Mr. Linus has some really big secret to tell. Maybe he ran from DI and took up with the Hostiles after he found out what DI was planning or maybe he took something or has knowledge that DI wants control of or maybe … maybe … maybe … I could maybe til the cows come home but this is SWEET.
This would also explain the suave photo of Ben on the TV Guide cover. Did he have on the same shirt? Went back and looked. He didn't, but the hairstyle is similar
