Hi,
I had my trouble with SAW, too...i saw the movie with heart beating and fear. The scene, when Michael is kissing the girl`s head is like a good bye and it has something of forgiving/forgiveness for himself, it`s wonderful create by Michael, when you play slow motion on your player you get the feeling of a good theater occupation, there is no chance, everything is so well planed in the sequence of actions. I can only watch this professional, otherwise I `m in.
This man can do it and we know he got his paycheck, right?!

At first I though he was recording her cries and heartbeat to play to her father but then it was obvious he only did it to listen to her racing heart...When Zep is done he gives her a reassuring pat on her head and puts the teddy in her lap. I interpretted that scene as Zep trying to calm his nerves and preparing himself to commit murder by pretending he was working in the hospital and that the girl was just another patient; He listened to her heartbeat to distract himself from what he would have to do. hat off to all you who have seen saw i think your all brave. i get realy frightened with films like this.....i live alone, oh i'm just gunna have to watch it. I'm generally scared of horror films and "R" rated movies as well, but I wanted to see Michael Emerson's performance; I didn't watch all of it. I guess it's best when you decide you want to see it, and not force yourself. |

i dont like scary movies either generally, i mean i do love things like sleepy hollow and that kinda scary but it took me a while to convince myself to watch Saw. i only did it coz i wanted to see his performance too lol and wow was it good.
those kind of films freak me out most of the time. it was not as bad as i thort tho, not as gory as i expected. excessive gore just annoys me, i mean wots the point??!!
