I do NOT like "Israelites," so should I ever find myself in ME's home (HA! now THAT's funny), we would not be listening to the "Israelites." But the rest is OK. Musical taste is so individual. I like almost all genres. My favorite video is the Viking Kittens set to the tune of Led Zep's "Immigrant Song." Enjoy: users.wolfcrews.com/toys/vikings/

For some reason I love that song! I play it all the time! It's one of my "chill out" songs.

Wow Dekker's song is amazing! I love how the drum and guitar are so simple and easy to hear. I find that Michael and I have a lot in common musically, but I wonder about literature?

Eugh, Bach. I'm just biased because I don't particularly like playing Bach - haven't actually heard any of his songs other than what I've played. Now Handel on the other hand... mightily grand stuff. Whenever I hear a Handel piece, I feel like I'm on top of the world. And Beethoven, and Chopin... their songs are emotional roller-coasters.
Radiohead is great, I've always loved them ever since I heard Paranoid Android. Coincidentally, I'm listening to Karma Police as we speak. REM, whose lead singer Michael Stipe is good friends with Radiohead's Thom Yorke, is brilliant too.
He doesn't mention anything about '60s rock. Does he not like the Beatles or the Stones or the Who?
And I feel the same way as he about American Idol.

SONG IN MY CD ALARM CLOCK
"I don't wake up to music but my wife has a special ring for me on her cell phone — it's a sample from "Jump Around" by House of Pain. The song is so...down and sort of madcap and antithetical to who I am. It amuses her that I like it."
HA HA thats on my fone too LOL ;D

I have just download Desmond Dekker's "Israelites". At first sight I didn't like this song, but after 1 minute I found myself dancing. ^_^ Very special music.
