I've not seen it before, but I doubt if I have seen everything that is out there.
He told a funny little story about Carrie on a movie set and seem genuinely surprised to find out that Stephen King is a fan of the show. It's a decent length interview - not just a 30 second clip. I didn't time it but maybe 4 or 5 minutes.
Great find, thanks.

Perhaps he was a bit shell shocked by the interviewer. She comes across as a bit of an exuberant person, but she did seem to be a fan of the show.

I hadn't seen it before- so edith still has me beat in finding stuff in one area. Spoiler tag for you if you still haven't heard it, edith The interviewer asked why the Others are so nasty, and Michael stated that they're business like and on a mission, and the clock's ticking, so there's no time for fooling around. He talked about the writers and how they are sort of improvisational, but probably have a master outline with room to play around. The interviewer mentioned how Stephen King was a fan, and Michael commented that it makes sense because King plays with good and evil just like the show does. He said Carrie's working on a new film by Alan Ball, who wrote American Beauty and created Six Feet Under, and who's a Lost fan as well- he told Carrie "I didn't know you were married to Henry Gale!" He said that when he reads a script, he's noticed that the writers seem to make Ben sound more like him and tailor him to Michael's own voice and vocabulary. He thinks Ben's been heroic already for taking a punch and a whipping, and being able to keep on thinking. He wrapped up by saying the sympathy framework will be toyed with this season- so this must have happened early on in the year.

Thank you for the recap. I won't be able to see it till tonight around 8. That's when I get home.
