Well, be consuled by the fact that Evangelline has no shot, and in the original submissions to the Emmy committee, Matthew couldn't submit "Through the Looking Glass" I'm certain he must have changed it before the final deadline, but they still haven't released Lost's final Emmy submissions at the Envelope website. Even so, despite Matthew's "Looking Glass" work being extremely tailored for Emmy[he's drunk and has a beard!]I think that field is way too crowded for him to get in.

Award shows blow ass. I give up on them.

My dear friends!
We should call things by their proper names. If ABC wants that Lost has failed, let puts forward on Emmy Fox and Lilly.. Both of them are equally worthless. And both they already failed on Emmy. But if ABC wants that Lost has won that let nominate Michael. Never late to make a correct choice. It is still time make a correct choice. This my opinion.

ABC doesn't pick who's nominated for the awards, the Emmys themselves do- and like I said, there's a slim chance those two are getting in[Fox likely has a much better shot than Lilly though if he can submit Looking Glass, but again, that field is way too crowded for him]Critics and fans alike know the so called supporting actors make the show what it is.

Michael in 3 season is included in the main actor's stuff of Lost... How can nominate the actor from the main actor's stuff as supporting actor? I do not understand laws of a nomination....
If he was the "guest star" then it would be clear.. But he is "starring"....

Even if a show has many stars, they can have only one male as the official leading actor, and one female as the official leading actress- everyone else is a supporting actor/actress. Because Jack is pretty much the official leading male character, Matthew can submit as a lead actor, and because Kate is the leading female character, Evangelline can submit for lead actress. Everyone else is a supporting character compared to those two, so they submit in the supporting catagories, and that's where Michael fits in- after all, Jack was the leading male character well before Ben showed up, and there's no way to know Ben would become the official leading male character if Jack got knocked off[it would probably depend if Sawyer or Locke was also still standing]

Perhaps you are right from the technical point of view... But from the point of view of development of a plot in Lost, Ben is for a long time already is that character which holds the main storyline.. Not Jack....

I'd be interested to know the screen time for Ben in season 3. I wonder if there's a site out there anywhere that tallies up on-screen time per character? Ben has been in a large chunk of episodes this year - be interesting to know how much on air time he has had in comparison with others.

I don't know that, but going by the amount of episodes everyone appeared in, Ben was in 14 of 22 episodes[if we count Looking Glass as one episode]Kate was in 19, Jack was in 17, Sawyer in 17, Juliet in 16, Desmond in 12, and Locke in 12.

So far, out of 587 votes, 58% voted for Michael, 37% voted for Terry, and 5% voted other.
Michael is recognized by others, not just us.
