I don't know when they would announce what the top 10 votegetters are, or if they do. It would probably have to be soon since the 5 nominees are announced the middle of next month.

Good, cause I glanced at TV listings for tomorrow and was like, "THE EMMYS?!" Daytime, of course. ;D But for a moment I thought he'd been bypassed and I'd missed something and/or nobody was discussing that. Seems silly now. ;D

Well, the soapish stuff on Lost could qualify for nominations there if they dumped the cooler stuff and moved to a much earlier time slot.

On Entertainment Weekly's website, they have a photo gallery of fantasy Emmy nominees that readers wanted to see. Michael was mentioned with Elizabeth and Yujin Kim in one part, at www.ew.com/ew/gallery/0,,20043072_9,00.html [copy and paste the address] |

The goldderbyforum people are getting leaks of the Emmy's top 10 lists for nominees, that's how they found out Lost was in the top 10 for series. They're getting leaks of other catagories now, we may find out if Michael made the first cut soon. So far, they've only found out that Masi Oka is in the top 10 for supporting actor. No leaks have gotten out about who made the supporting actress cut, and Matthew was not one of the 4 already leaked as Best Actor selections.

I'm just going to hazard a guess and say "Heroes" gets a lot of nominations and a lot of awards. Doesn't mean I don't think ME won't get nominated, but I'm guessing the industry is going to go with the hot new show. BTW, I think ME would be up agains William Shatner from "Boston Legal," yeah. Shatner seems to always win. So … I just don't want to get my hopes too high. Cuz if he does win, well then it will be really special.

Hey folks,
This is the aforementioned endorser, perhaps explaining himself.
I want Emerson to be nominated, don't get me wrong, but I don't see it happening. With such a competitive field, his more nuanced performance and less "awards clout" will be unable to compete with either his co-stars or the other candidates.
Remember: predictions, not personal feelings.
If he gets snubbed (There's still a chance), believe me: I'll be making note of it in my "Emmy Snubs" post.

I didn't know you were registered here, that's a welcome surprise.
I have my worries myself- it's probably written into law that they have to put one Sopranos actor in there, their love affair with William Shatner is pretty strong, and with the big episode Terry had in MfT, he would likely be the lead vote getter among all the Lost candidates. That'd leave only two spots left for him to get into.
