It was wonderful for Katie to post this on LiveJournal. The guy is every interviewer's dream. No wonder he ended up the focus of the article - his responses are so interesting and giving of himself. The more I 'get to know' Michael the more I like him. I thought his earlier comment about seeing LOST in perspective when witnessing Hawaii's natural beauty was fantastic. Not the conventional actor, just a fascinating person. I hope we continue to get more little insights from him about himself and other things.

He is such a great person. I would love to meet him. Not for all the sexy silly stuff we play around here, but to really pick his mind. I find him fascinating.

Oh, come on now, Edith, a little honesty? ;D Don't tell me that the leading chest hair devotee is so pure. I was a bit surprised that he was nervous and planning a speech. From a previous comment it seemed as if it came totally out of left field and he wasn't expecting it in the slightest. Anyway, I worship the feet of the reporter who elicted such great material.

Very nice. Good stuff. I always thought the win was bitter sweet when I found out when he got it. I loved reading about his thoughts about what he was going to say, rewriting it. If his wife told him he'd better get up there, he must not have bound out of his seat. LOL. I totally get that. I would send a proxy. (Like I would ever get nominated for any of an award, ha!)

Well, in all honesty, as naughty as I can be (and some people on the forum can attest to that), I truly love the man's intellect. (The chest hair is just icing on the cake. LOL.) I am quite sure that he was not expecting to win, but nonetheless, as a good actor, he believes in being prepared. You don't want to sound truly like an idiot when you get up there. Bad enough most of them do sound a bit moronic when they thank the whole world, including the newspaper guy. *snickers* Can you imagine how moronic they would sound had they had nothing prepared?
