Well, size and physique is never really a fully true indication of one's physicality. I had some strapping uncles but my small, scrawny dad, at 5'9, 135 soakin' wet, could take carry his own against them and others, leave everyone in the dirt in a foot race (at 50 some years old) and lift more than his weight (including his heavier wife) without problems. He was tough as nails, but he looked just the opposite. So I never just assume that because someone is small they can't hold their own.

I spend so much of my story line in scenes of violence
Hmmmm, I hope that Ben is actually getting to do some of the violence (especially on you-know-who). I'd hate to think that after a few episodes into the season he's still being held prisoner and having the crap bashed out of him.

Hi,
ok, in Lost the psychological factors makes the difference and Ben alias Michael plays it very well. (like I said before)
It´s a gift to play a part a small and being the big one, how wonderful "brain" is over the "body", or something like that...
Jiddish/ Jewish language is that reminds you on Woody Allen, is Michael Jewish?I love the Jewish culture, but I `m not a fan of Woody Allen, because of his position.....as a mother I can`t understand his behavior. This has nothing do do with his status as a director and writer or actor. Greetings

Greetings Martina Michael is not Jewish; he was brought up Catholic. I have trouble with people's reaction to Woody Allen and his wife. He was not her father, nor the stepfather. His former girlfriend (Mia Farrow) who is her adoptive mother has some issues herself. So any accusations that come from her, I would take with a grain of salt.

Hi,
In Germany we are not very involved by the Woody Allen and Mia Farrow trails, I was only shocked by the constellation. I thought the family had account for the growing children.....so whatever that`s the life of Mr. Allen. And I didn`t want to offend sensibilities, Edith, sorry, when I did.
Michael is catholic, thanks for the information.
Greetings
Martina

Yes, he fell in love with his lover's daughter, but he had nothing to do with her upbringing. He was not her father. I, personally, cannot understand that. But December-May marriages are very common. Some are absolutely approved and viewed as cool. What bothers me most is that Mia tried to paint Woody as a pedophile, and he wasn't.

Hi,
you know him a lot, don`t you?
I think you have your truly reason to say that.
Dear, I get disabuse by you,(hope it`s right in these words) and of course I don`t know these people, nor the background. And you are right, I`ve read the book by Mrs. Farrow, only.
Sorry for my jump to conclusions.Deeply sorry.
Greetings
Martina

too true! to use the old cliche "its always the quiet ones" the perfect villain in my eyes is mild mannered on first appearances and polite and courteous but with an obvious disturbing streak. of which all three Michael pulls off extremely well every time (mr william hinks....need i say more)
