Thanks for the script!
I'm confused. Marty and Rebecca were in a relationship before, right? That's why she said, "What happened between us happened?" It sounded to me as though she dumped him and he felt angry about it and that's the reason why he killed those people. But then she wouldv'e recognized his voice on the phone, wouldn't she? Then what was she talking about?

just read it again and when he ses remember what happened to us i think he was the one who kidnapped rebecca when she was younger. i think thats what that refers to

I'm quite sure his name is Marty Manning on the show. They could have changed it during filming. And Marty Manning does have a certain ring to it - much more euphonic than Marty Mills, I think.

I agree with that; They do change things while filming and I remember seeing Michael credited as Marty Manning on IMB, so I think that's the right one. just read it again and when he ses remember what happened to us i think he was the one who kidnapped rebecca when she was younger. i think thats what that refers to I went back and read the entire script; I only read Marty's lines the first time so that's why I didn't understand it, but now I think I do. Rebecca profiled Marty and he told her he had a bad childhood and hated himself and she figured out that he was abducted as a child, just like herself and that's the reason why he killed those people (he couldn't get rid of the pain of what had happened to him) and why they felt connected to each other (Marty would only talk to her and she felt that he had a point in stopping the people from harming others). That was quite a good script. |
