Michael will be interviewed on the Red Eye Program over at Fox Channel News. It will be on Sat. 12/22/07 at 10 pm ET.
I will be recording it and will make it available for those of you who can't get that cable channel.
Here's the blurb:
10:00pm 2:00am Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld Mysterious, scheming and dangerous — his character could change everything! Lost’s Michael Emerson takes us inside TV’s hottest show.

Mysterious, scheming and dangerous — his character could change everything! I think he's already got a head start on that.

you don't realize how small he is until you see him with other people. He really is a tiny guy. And he's so sweet and clever. Can not wait 'til Jan. 21
btw, I am sorry he didn't get paid well for the audiobooks. I actually think those are some of his best work on tape (audio or video)

Since Michael mentioned going to Jazz clubs in Hawaii does that mean he likes that type of music?

I loved Michael's facial expressions! He was so brilliant to have explained "Lost" with complex words, instead of simple words, like the interviewer wanted; I never knew that he hightlighted character's dialogue in order to read audiobooks. I feel reading dialogue between characters is the juiciest, most fun part; I've been wondering how many hours a day he'd work, reading them. Since Michael mentioned going to Jazz clubs in Hawaii does that mean he likes that type of music? Yes. "Things that are sparsely played, and have an empty quality to them, I find very appealing...I'm gravitating to the simpler and the earlier in music. I like the beginnings of things like jazz, reggae and punk: less production, more mess, more empty spaces." www.blender.com/guide/articles.aspx?id=2091

I can't understand how he managed to be, despite the hosts' irritant and stupid questions, witty, modest and adorable as always (look at him when he talks about Carrie being his 'mother' in the show)... But he really looks like a very patient elementary school teacher dealing with mentally retarded children!
There's a transcription of it somewhere?

That's what so great about him; He's patient, despite being asked the same questions all the time.
