Entertainment Weekly's website has a brief video with Matthew Fox, who discusses the new flashforward element. He does this while EW people are taking his picture, and at the 1 minute 18 second mark of this video, we see his picture on the cover of Entertainment Weekly for their upcoming winter TV preview issue. The magazine always manages to have cover articles on Lost at least once a season, and this appears to be filling their Lost quota- though since it's an issue previewing all of TV and not just Lost, I guess they only had room to spotlight Matthew and not.....other people. In any case, the article was posted by Dark UFO at spoilerslost.blogspot.com/2008/01/matthew-fox-flash-forwards.html and keep your eye out for this new Entertainment Weekly in the future, in case it has any tidbits.

I know someone who works for EW and she said that Michael was interviewed for them as well.

So now let's really be on the lookout for this thing. Sadly, my local store is often very late putting up new issues of the magazine- I sent money for a subscription, but it probably won't start for a few weeks. Actually, I just found something very interesting in that video, when I looked at it on the EW website. It's at www.ew.com/ew/video/exclusives?lineupId=1155151521&videoId=1361335237 If you pause it at the 1 minute and 13 second mark, it has a picture of the Lost article that should be in the magazine[it has Matthew, and what looks to be Kate's horse, in the picture]If you pause it, look very closely at the video, and squint a bit, I'm certain you can see the name Michael Emerson at about the bottom of the first paragraph, right above the ew.com symbol at the bottom right. So you are right, Michael will at least have one comment in this new issue.

Matthew is the name purportedly used as a logon for the Find 815 game. So that suggests to me that Foxy's got some serious buy in. But I do get a kick out of the Lost articles that aren't the result of the network promotions. Almost always it has a picture of Michael. That suggests to me that as much as the network and producers are saying Foxy's the star, the media and fans have other ideas about whose is the iconic image of the show.

Well, check out the expanded Q&A at ew.com/matthewfox or turn to the cover story on page 23 to find out!
I really enjoyed this interview. See, I like Matthew. It's only Jack-Ass I don't like I found this bit very interesting (using spoilers to protect the innocent) as it gives a little perspective on the off-island scenario. So don't peek if you want to remain totally spoiler free. Q: With the new flash-forward device, does the guessing game become ''Who else is getting off the island?'' instead of ''Who's dying next?''
A: That's the question for the first part of this year, for sure. Jack gets people off that island, [and] suddenly he and the other people are very well-known — it becomes this massive story because everybody thought that every person on this plane was lost.... Who are they? What is everybody else doing? Jack's mission was to get all of them off. It's the overriding force behind him. So, the fact that he ends up getting off and doesn't get that accomplished — I'm very curious to find out how that all goes down. And part of that is going to be part of the reason why he wanted to jump off the bridge in the future.... If I start giving you words about what I think it's really about, I'm going to be honing in on some stuff that I'm not sure I'm authorized to talk about. A truck might pull up and a bunch of dudes in suits get out and mow us down with Uzis. [Laughs] Seriously.

Seriously.
Foxy is funny!. As you, I don't hate him. I hate the character he is portraying. It's funny, but in the beginning I liked Jack and hated Sawyer and Sayid. How things have changed. I still hate Kate, and I really dislike Evie.

I don't much care for Evie myself either. Kate is a blankety-blank train wreck. But she will always have the guys' vote because they see a gorgeous sexy woman and that's all that matters, much like the beauty queen of the "such as the Iraq" fame.
