Sophie was heading towards Jacobs shack. She was near to him because she had gone past the grey ash that surrounded his cabin. She was tired so she stopped for rest. Sitting on a log. She burst into tears. Just reliving the last few hours in her mind. Finding out she was really pregnant. Finding out about Ben's plan for Mel and how he was Williams father. She felt someones hand tap her shoulder.
"It's ok...." the person said behind her. She jumped up frightened turning around seeing a strange man behind her.
"Who are you?" she asked frightened back. Taking a step back, the man said nothing. "Jacob?" she asked. The man stood there and nodded too her. He turned around heading back towards his cabin. Sophie followed behind him. Right now she was terrified. But something was telling her to follow him too. She opened the shack door finding no one in there.
"Hello?" she asked coming in. One of lanterns lighted up which made her jump. Next to it was a desk with a book next to it. She picked it up and sat on the floor with it. Opening it up there was a drawing of Ben crying.
"Ben" she sighed stroking the page. The page turned over and it was blank. Soon an image started to appear. Like someone was there drawing it for her. The picture showed her. Richard holding a baby as Sophie stood by smiling happly, then the same picture of Ben crying from a window.
"I don't understand?" Sophie asked looking around the room. But the images bled through and dissappeared. The fire went out in the lantern. She wasn't getting more answers from him. Closing the book she placed it back. She left the cabin.

"I don't want to talk Zoe. Look, it's great that you are alive but this isn't your fight. You should be more worried about your babies. Do you even know where they are?"
Zoe ignored her question and asked one of her own, "Why do you want to kill Sophie so badlly. Besides revenge of course."
"I lied when I told you all that I didn't know why Jacob wanted me to kill her. I know why, and I think she might deserve it."
"What has she done that deserves that?"
"She hasn't been truthful."
"If you're not going to explain yourself then I'm not going to untie you. You'll come with John and I." Zoe said standing up.
"I don't think she'll be doing that." They heard from a familiar voice as he stepped out of the jungle.
"Ethan?" Mel asked, amazed.
"Yes baby, it's me."
"I thought you left."
"I would never leave you. I only wanted to get William safe. I was always going to come back to you."
"If you think you're taking her somewhere you are wrong." Zoe said as she looked sideways at John.
"This is what is going to happen. Mel is going to come with me and we are going to walk into the jungle. Both of you are going to stay here. You're not going to follow us. In fact, forget you even saw us."
"You can't let her kill Sophie, she is pregnant." Zoe warned.
"She'll do what she thinks is necessary."
"You are a horrible father." Zoe spat.
"I'm sorry you feel that way Zoe. I had hoped we would have a chance to build a relationship, but I can see now that you would fight it to the end. You should get back to your children. They will never be safe as long as they are on this island."
Mel and Ethan started walking backwards into the jungle, away from Zoe and John.
"Don't do it Mel! Don't you kill her! You'll regret it!" Zoe yelled as they went out of sight.
"She might be right you know." Ethan said as they started jogging through the jungle.
"We're going to going to find out." Mel said as she took the gun Ethan was holding out to her.

just to let you know sophie doesn't know its not bens baby yet. she will find out soon with juliet.

Zoe shook her head in disgust and looks at John.
"We've got to go warn Sophie." She said to him. "We have to help her, find her." John nodded at her.
"It's okay Zoe, we'll both track her down." John replied, and gave her a reassuring pat on her shoulder. "Follow me." Zoe did as she was told and John started tracking Sophie's tracks.
"These are on the path to Jacob's cabin." He commented.
"John, look!" Zoe said, she was looking up while John had been concentrating on the ground.
"Sophie!" Zoe yelled to her. Sophie looked up, gobsmacked.
"How?" She asked.
"Nevermind that for now." Zoe ran over and grabbed her by the arm and tugged her away through into the jungle, John joining her.
"We have to get you away from here for a while." Zoe continued. "Mel - she's gone derranged. Her and Ethan. She's going to come kill you, so I suggest we follow John. He knows somewhere where we can be safe." John started to lead the way, and Zoe's grip on Sophie tightened as she lead her through the jungle.

being tugged by zoe. Sophie ran as fast as she could with her and john. till they reached johns safe place

Mel and Ethan reached Jacob's shack in record time. Mel didn't even bother to knock, she went straight inside.
She found the cabin empty.
"Jacob?" she called but he didn't appear.
"Fine." she said to him. She knew he could hear her. "Is this what you want for the island? For everyone to suffer? Can no one be happy?"
Her questions were met with silence.
"Then maybe, I'll have to do something about it. Maybe I'll just tell Ben and Sophie the truth!"
"You will not!" Jacob's voice boomed through the cabin.
"And who is going to stop me? You?" Mel scoffed as she put her hand on the door.
"You will regret it." Jacob told her.
"I regret many things that have happened on this island. Add it to the list." she said as she left the cabin and slammed the door behind her.
"What's up babe?" Ethan asked.
"She's not here. Let's get back to the village. She'll have to turn up sometime. She can't stay away from Ben for long."

John set up camp for them, allowing Zoe to talk to Sophie.
"It's a bit cold, can't we build a fire?" Sophie asked.
"Not if you want Mel to spot the fire and come straight here." Zoe replied.
"Okay. So - how - how are you here?" Sophie asked.
"John helped me." Zoe replied, nodding in Locke's direction. She then leant in and whispered to Sophie "And so did Charlie."
"But - how?" Sophie asked in disbelief.
"I still see him, I feel him, sometimes I even feel him living through me. It's so strange. But it's nice. It's not as if he even died." Zoe tried to explain. She then stood up.
"Where are you going?" Sophie asked.
"To find Juliet. I need to check on my babies." Zoe replied. "Make sure they are safe."
"I'll come too!" Sophie said getting up.
"NO!" Zoe replied firmly. "It's too dangerous. I'll come back, I won't be long. I promise Sophie. John will look out for you."
"But I need to see Ben!" Sophie protested.
"By risking your baby's life? Sorry, but you are too good a friend Sophie. You may not remember me from when we were back in England, but I remember you." Zoe explained. "You were so good to me. Now I am returning the favour. I'll be back, and I'll let Ben know how you are. I may even bring him back, but I can't promise anything, I don't know how things are going to pan out when I go back to the village."
Sophie nodded, and understood, but Zoe could tell this was hard for her. Zoe looked up to John.
"You'll know something is wrong if I'm not back in four hours." Zoe said to him. John nodded and walked over to her, and handed her a gun.
"Take this, for protection." He said gruffly. Zoe took it without another word and walked through the jungle and back to the village.

Sophie sat on the floor John kneeled down next to her, offering her some water. Sophie took and sipped some. handing it back to john.
"Congratulations..." he said. "On the baby" Sophie smiled.
"Thank you John"
"Ben must be thrilled."
Sophie sighed, "He was....Although i don't think he needs me no more."
"Of course he does."
............
Ben was in his home. He was in his hallway when he noticed the pregnancy test on the floor he picked it up and sat at the kitchen table just staring at it.
"Please don't kill her Jacob." he whispered

Mel knocked twice on the door to Ben's house before going inside. She found him kneeling in the living room.
"Mel?" he asked looking up. "Where is Sophie?"
"She's not with me Ben."
"What have you done?"
"Nothing. I'm not going to kill Sophie."
"But, Jacob." Ben said standing.
"I'm tired of listening to him. Who is he to decide how we all live our lives?"
"I'm glad you feel that way Mel." Ben smiled but his smile instantly faded when Ethan walked into the room.
"What is he doing here?" Ben asked.
"He came back. Ethan helped me out in the jungle."
"Hello Ben." Ethan said carefully.
Mel watched Ben grab a gun off of the table next to him and aim it at Ethan.
"Ben, what are you doing?"
Ben ignored her and looked straight at Ethan, "Where is William? Where is my son?"

Zoe arrived back at the village, people who were outside turned their heads, staring at her in shock. Juliet was the first to come over to her.
"Zoe, what happened? How are you here?" Juliet asked.
"How are my babies?" Zoe asked ignoring Juliet's question.
"Their - their safe. Don't worry." Juliet replied.
"Keep Ethan away from them." Zoe said to her darkly. "I know he allowed Mel's to be taken away, I am not letting him ruin my life again. Go." Juliet was taken aback by Zoe giving orders, it was so unlike her, but the urgency and importance that were detected in her tones made her do as she was told. Hurley was the next to come over to her.
"Zoe!" He cried out in disbelief, and he embraced her.
"Hurely." Zoe replied. "I'm glad you're alright."

"Ben, put down the gun, please." Mel said as she inched closer to Ethan.
"I will not. He kidnapped our son." Ben said angrily.
"If you kill him then we will never see William again. That isn't good for anyone."
"It's too late Mel. He's gone."
Suddenly two things happened at once. There was a loud knock at the door and Ben's gun went off.
"No!" Mel yelled as she jumped in front of Ethan. She felt pain blossom in her side as she fell to the ground in Ethan's arms.
"Mel!" he cried as he sank to his knees with her.
"What have you done?" he screamed at Ben who stood there not believing what he was seeing.
"This wasn't supposed to happen!" Ben said as he ran to Mel's side.
Ben placed his hand over Mel's wound, "I'm so sorry Mel. You know I would never want to hurt you."
Mel smiled up at him, "I know. I forgive you." Somehow she found both of their hands and held them tightly. She looked from Ethan to Ben and then back to Ethan.
"I love you both." she whispered as her eyes closed.

"John, Jacob showed me something today. But i don't understand it."
"Thats something you need to work out by yourself Sophie."
"Then i need to go back to the village." Sophie stood up from the floor. "Can you take me back please?"
John stood there thinking about it. "Alright." Putting his drink away.

Ethan looked up from Mel to Ben.
"Go get Jack now! I'm going to need his help!" he ordered as Ben ran out the door.

omg mel!
Zoe heard a gun shot as she and Hurley pulled away from their hug. A door burst open and Ben came running out. Jack came out from another house and collided with Ben.
"Jack - please - it's Mel." Ben said to him desperatly. Jack nodded and followed him back to the house. Zoe gave Hurley a sideways glance, and then ran up to the house to see what was going on.
