Mel looked across the courtyard and smiled sweetly at her husband. She looked at the diamond on her ring finger. It was impractical for life on the island but Christian liked everyone knowing that she was his. She had been wearing it for so long it no longer felt like a noose around her neck, she barely noticed it anymore.
She sat up from the tiny garden she was tending and stretched her back. Her husband stood about ten yards away, deep in conversation with a man she had never warmed to, John Locke. It was normal to see them talking at any hour of the day.
She looked in the other direction and found Jack and Emma sitting on the front porch of their house. They were both smiling, obviously delirously happy though Emma kept spacing out every so often as if she was listening for some phantom sound that never came.
Mel turned once more and looked out into the jungle. It had been a long time since she had ventured into it. Christian would no longer allow it. In fact, he rarely let her out of his sight. She knew he wanted her close so she couldn't cause trouble. In truth, she hadn't caused any trouble for him in ages. She had played her role as his dutiful wife well. Mel's eyes clouded as she turned away from the jungle, she tried to stop them, but the memories came flooding back to her.
***************************************************
Mel ran. She ran as fast as she could to get there on time. She was deathly afraid that if she wasn't there he would leave and he would be lost to her forever. Finally she stopped, panting, and glanced around her. Where was he? He was supposed to be right here.
"Mel." he spoke softly as he stepped from behind a tree.
She turned at the sound of his voice and felt her heart drop into her stomach. The sight of him was amazing. She felt as if she had never laid eyes on him before.
She threw herself into his arms and held him tightly.
"You said you'd come back. You took so long." she whispered.
"I know and I'm sorry. It took longer than expected. Complications arose."
"You've been gone for four months. I thought you had forgotten about me, about the island."
He smiled, "How could I ever forget about you?"
Mel looked up at him, "Are they safe?"
"Yes, they are safe."
"Where are they now?"
"With her."
Mel's eyes darkened. She knew it had been her choice to send her children away but she hated the idea of the woman who was now raising them.
"What can you tell me?" he asked.
"It's horrible. Christian and Locke have teamed together to carry out Jacob's wishes. They are planning another purge."
"Of who?"
"Nearly everyone. Only a few select will survive. I haven't been told who."
"I'll have to move more quickly then I thought." he mused.
"I have faith in you Ben." she smiled, happy to be in his arms once more.
Ben's eyes grew dark as he pulled her close again and nuzzled her hair, "Do you tell him that, your husband?"
Mel reveled in Ben's touch, "He is the last person I want to think about right now."
Ben smirked and backed her up against a tree. We he kissed her she felt a puzzle piece click into place, like he had never been gone. They suddenly lost all inhibitions. Mel returned his kiss wildly and before she knew it he was taking her against the tree.
Later, as she lay in his arms on the ground he looked down at her fondly, "I'm going to ask her to marry me."
Mel froze, there was no doubt who he meant when he said her, it was Sophie.
She stood and threw her clothes on.
"You bastard! What was this, one last hit for good times sake? I trusted you! You said you would come back to save me from this!" she yelled and threw up her left hand, her wedding ring glinting in the light.
"I will save you Mel." Ben said desperatley.
"I don't think you can Ben. I think this was your goodbye. You're going to abandon me and the island aren't you?"
"I would never do that."
"You don't have the control here anymore Ben! How can you do anything? So go, go marry that woman and don't you ever think of me again. But you better do one thing before you leave for good." she warned.
"What?" Ben asked.
Mel glared at him, "You better bring me back my children."
***************************************************
Mel shook her head violently trying to shake the image out of her mind. That wasn't the last time she had been in the jungle, but it was one of the worst. Who would have ever guessed she would lose her faith in the one man who had been her constant on the island?
Mel pushed all memories of Ben out of her head. It was silly for her to still be thinking about him. He was long gone and probably happily married to her enemy. She hadn't even seen him in months.
"Hello darling." Christian said as he walked up to her, his love for her evident in his eyes.
"Hi sweetheart." she said kissing him on the cheek.
"The garden looks great." he commented as he wrapped his arms around her from behind.
"It's nearly done."
"How is the little one today?" he asked as he placed his hand over her much expanded stomach.
"He's wonderful." she smiled and put her hand on top of his, it was as if they were both guarding the precious gift inside.

Jack had been agitated and restless ever since his encounter with his father. Emma tried her best to soothe him, but he was so focused on his anger that she couldn't get through to him. Neither of them knew exactly what was coming, and Desmond only had brief, vague glimpses to share with them. The anxiety of not knowing was beginning to get to them.
Jack brought Emma into the study. He pressed her old gun into her hand, fully loaded. "Promise me you'll keep this on you at all times," he told her.
Emma laughed carelessly. "Jack, I used to live in the jungle. I know how to take care of myself."
"Promise me!" he repeated. "Have you ever shot a person?"
Emma paled at this. "No, I haven't...I wouldn't!"
"You might have to," Jack responded. "So be ready."
Emma put the gun back in the box Jack took it from. "I won't live in fear, Jack. That's exactly what your father wants!"
"Do you have a better solution?" Jack muttered.
Emma put her arms around his neck and looked lovingly into his eyes. "We need to find a way to bring Ben back to the island. He'll know what to do."

Zoe rolled over in bed as she woke up to one of her babies crying. She sat up rubbing her eyes exhaustedly before pulling on her gown walking over to one of the cribs.
"Do you want some help honey?" Came a voice from behind her as Zoe scooped Abbie up into her arms, looking out the window into the village. It was another beautiful sunny day, the sun shone through the window, highlighting Zoe's and her daughters skin as they were bathed by its warmth.
Zoe turned round to face the tall gorgeous man that was sat up in bed, naked, the sheets appropriatly covering his bottom half as she clutched hold on baby Abbie safley in her arms, cradling her, cooing her gently as her cries calmed down. He beamed at her with that familar cheeky up-to-no-good grin of his, his chest puffed out in his smug poisture.
"I'm okay thanks." Zoe replied, smiling back at him, sitting dack down on the bed beside him. Her handsome feller turned to her, and stroked Abbie's hair affectionatly, and the crying ceased immediatly.
"You really have got the magic touch with children." Zoe murmured softly. He looked back deep into Zoe's eyes at her words, and carassed her face, leaning in, he kissed her.
Abbie had begun to stir now, with Charlie Jr on her hip, Zoe strode over to the cot and picked her out, sturggling to hold both her babies, as they had grown quite alot over the past four months.
After finding a confortable position to hold them both in, Zoe managed to walk down the stair in Juliet's house and out the front door, sitting on the bench on the porch.
"You look like you could do with a hand." Came a southern American voice from nowhere. Zoe looked up to the owner of the familiar accent.
"Sawyer!" Zoe said with mild suprise. "I thought you'd gone. I thought you were all rescued!"

Emma woke up in Jack's arms and smiled at him lovingly. He was awake, watching her and thinking to himself. He was so serious lately.
"What are you thinking?" she asked softly.
"I'm thinking that when this...whatever...happens, you should go with Desmond to your beach shelter and stay there until it's over."
She shook her head vigorously. "No way, Jack. I'm not leaving your side, I won't be separated from you again."
"Listen to me, Emma," he replied. "Desmond cares about you, and he's a natural protector. His ability to see flashes of the future might help to keep you safe."
"And what will you do in the meantime? You don't always have to play the hero, Jack. We don't even have a clue what your father and Locke are planning, and I trust Desmond will tell us how to avoid disaster once he sees the bigger picture. And as soon as we can reach Ben on the radio we can bring him back to the island and..."
"You've been nauseous, haven't you?" Jack interrupted. "And you've been having some dizzy spells."
"Yes, but..." Emma was astonished that he had noticed it at all. She gave him a puzzled look. "What are you getting at, Jack?"
Jack looked at her solemnly. "You've got all the signs of pregnancy." He paused, allowing his words to sink in. "When Ben returns with that boat, I want you to get on it and leave this island behind."
Emma turned a ghostly pale. "And you won't come with me?" she whispered.
Jack kissed her forehead. "Of course I will, if I can. But I have to see this battle out with my father. I need to know that you will get on that boat with Desmond no matter what."
"I promise, Jack."
**********************************
Emma lifted her crying baby out of his crib and held him close. She and Jack had wanted this baby so badly, and had been through so much to keep him safe and healthy.
Now, after all the island's drama, they were finally able to have the quiet, intimate life they had always craved. This cherished baby was a constant reminder of the sacrifices that had been made, of the lives lost in the chaos of Jacob's second purge. Her baby with Jack was named after the man who had given his own life to keep him alive, the most courageous man Emma had ever known, and loved.
Emma crooned softly to her baby. "Shhh, don't cry, my love. Don't cry, my little Desmond."

"How did your talk with Locke go?" Mel asked Christian when he came back into the house.
"For a first meeting it went quite well." he answered as he sat next to her. "I believe he is ready to do what we need him to."
"Good." Mel nodded. "Thing didn't go so well with Jack."
Christian sighed, "Jack is stubborn, but he will come around when he sees what is at stake."
Mel looked away, "Do they really all have to die?" she whispered.
Christian pulled her onto his lap. She wrapped her arms around his neck and laid her head on his shoulder.
"Darling, you know they do. It is a purge after all."
"But there are so few left on the island anyway."
"And when it is over there will be far less. That is how it has to be. Trust me darling, this is for the best."
Mel didn't reply. She laid her head back down and closed her eyes. Christian ran his hands through her hair, lulling her to sleep.
****************************************************
"Where are my children?" Mel asked dangerously, the gun in her hand shaking slightly.
Ben had his hands raised in defense, "They are not with me."
Mel shook her head, "It has been two months Ben, two months since I told you to bring them back to me. I know you can do it so why aren't they with you?"
"It was safer for them to stay at home with their mother." Ben eyes widened when he realized his slip.
"I am their mother!" Mel cried.
"Sophie has been raising them for half a year now Mel. They think she is their mother."
"You were supposed to tell them about me, you said you would show them the video!"
"I couldn't bear to see the confusion on their faces, they are my children too." Ben countered.
Mel glanced at Ben's hands and saw the gold band on his ring finger, "How conveinient for you both. One, big, happy family. Too bad it is all a lie."
"It's not a lie Mel, Sophie treats them as if they are her own."
"But they aren't Ben, they're mine. Christian was right about you. I should have listened to him from the start. You are one of the bad ones. You should stick around, next week is going to be quite an event."
"The purge?" Ben asked, "So soon?"
"You speculate all you want, I'm done being your spy."
"Mel this is important, we have to save the island."
"The only thing that I have to do is go back to my husband. I'm starting to think he is right about the purge. Maybe the island does need to be cleansed. But Ben, you're not going to be around to find out."
Ben looked at the gun in her hand, "Mel, don't do this."
"All you had to do was bring me William and Bella, but you couldn't even do that Ben. You're of no use to me now."
Without even blinking Mel pulled the trigger then walked to where Ben had been standing. She looked down at him as he clutched his arm, the gun shot wound bleeding profusely. he looked up at her and for the first time she saw actual fear in his eyes.
"Your days on the island are done. Go home Ben. Maybe your wife can stitch that up for you."
***************************************************
Mel walked into the house and found Christian sitting at the kitchen table. She set her gun down next to him, causing him to look up.
"Since when do you carry a gun?" he asked.
She didn't answer his question as she sat down across from him.
"I'm ready." she said, "I'll tell you everything."

"There's no life for me back there." Sawyer replied a little quietly, as he sat beside her. Zoe handed him Abbie greatfully.
"What about Kate?" Zoe asked. Sawyer almost flinched at the mention of her name, it was obviously still a sore subject.
"She er....she went back." Sawyer replied sadly. Zoe gave him a look of sympathy.
"Maybe it's for the best." She said supportively to him. Sawyer nodded, looking at Abbie, who looked up at him interestingly.
"Her name's Abbie." Zoe explained. "After my mother." Sawyer nodded.
"And what about the other one?" He asked. Zoe smiled affectionatly as Charlie Jr clung onto her finger again.
"Charlie." She whispered, feeling a tear fall down a cheek. Sawyer wiped it away for her helpfully.
"I am sorry....about....about what happened. Do you want to talk about it?" Sawyer said to her empathetically.
"Oh, don't worry. I'm fine." Zoe replied shaking her head, looking up at him. "There's nothing anyone can do to bring him back, and in a way....I see him everyday." Sawyer nodded sadly.
"He does resemble Charlie strongly. You can really see him in him. Both of them." Sawyer replied glancing from Charlie to Abbie. Zoe nodded, smiling weakly, if only he knew what she really meant.
"The house...er...it's been quiet since Hugo left." Sawyer said suddenly, Zoe detecting how awkward he sounded. "I was wondering...do you fancy having dinner with me?"

Sophie stood with the children as they finally reached some dry land. They had no idea where they were yet. She watched as Sayid and a few others help him place the anchor down at the docks. Ben pulled the ramp down and people started to scuttle off cheering and thrilled to finally arrive somewhere. Finally to be home. Ben looked over to Sophie and smiled. Pulling out his hand Sophie went over with the kids to greet him.
"Are you ready to begin your new life?" he asked. Sophie nodded in agreement as he helped her down the ramp with the kids. Sayid followed shortly helping with lugage.
"Thank you Sayid." Sophie said. Sayid formed a quick smile then glanced to Ben and gave him a nod. It was kinda goodbye to each other. Ben smirked and then offered his hand to shake and then said "Good luck." Sayid took his hand and shook it. Soon walking off away with the others. Sophie noticed Bens little smirk.
"Whats that for?" she asked. "What are you up too?"
"Nothing Darling" he said kissing her forehead. "C'mon lets find our new home."
Ben and Sophie both collapsed on the bed in a heap. After there passion fuel romp. Panting he layed on her chest listening to her heart beat. As her chest rised up and down. She stroked his back and neck as he lay there quietly. He took her free hand and intwined his finger with hers. Feeling her wedding ring he smiled contently. Looking up at her he kissed her lips.
"So who's next?" she asked. Running her fingers through his sticky hair from the gel and sweat.
"No one. You need to rest." he said rolling on to his side to look at her. "How are you feeling?" he asked.
"Tired but you just had your wicked way with me." she grinned and kissed him.
"You know what i mean Sophie!"
"I'm fine." she said rolling to her side having her back to him.
"Sophie. I know your not. Ive noticed the past few days. Your getting weaker again. Your due for your next treatment. I'll arrange for Richard to come." he said. Kissing the back of her neck as he laid closer to her.
"I don't want too. I'm sick of stuff being injected into me and for what?"
"To keep you alive Sophie!" he snapped. "Please i don't want this arguement again. I need you. Molly. Willam and Bella. We all need you."
"Then take me home Ben. I don't need the injections there."
"No!"
Sophie pulled the sheets of her body. Slipping on her robe. She stormed off out the room.
A few months since the docks.
*Knock Knock* "Ben you can't come in it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding." She said as she applied her makeup on in the mirror. She noticed as Richard stepped in closing the door behind him. "Richard" She gasped turning around and then hugging him. "What are you doing here?" she said surprised.
"I thought you might need someone to take you down the aisle?" he smiled.
"Look at you!" she smiled fidderling with his suit. "You very dapper!" she giggled.
"And you look beautiful." as he admired her in her dress. Sophie blushed. Then asked him to chain her necklace up. "He's very lucky to have you." he whispered in her ear. Sophie smiled and sighed.
"He told you about our new names?" she asked.
"Yes..... C'mon its time for you to be Mrs Moriarty." As he took her arm, and they headed for the ceremony.

Emma hesitated before she knocked on Desmond's door. She wanted him to be the first to know about her pregnancy, but didn't know how much it might hurt him. She didn't know if he still had feelings for her at all, for that matter. Everything seemed so uncertain lately.
"Come in," Desmond shouted from inside. Emma stepped inside and found Desmond reading a Charles Dickens novel on the living room couch. She smiled - they had once bonded over Dickens, long ago.
"Des, do you have a moment?"
"Aye." He put the book down and motioned for her to join him on the couch. Emma obliged him.
"Have you had any more visions? Jack is really anxious, and doesn't know what to expect, or when. It's making him crazy. He's spying on his father and Locke every chance he gets, but they're pretty good at keeping secrets. And we haven't been able to locate Ben - we have no idea if he'll ever return to the island."
Desmond shook his head. "It's all very vague, but you and Jack will be the first to know if I see anything more. I swear it."
Emma tried to smile. "Jack wants you and I to go to the beach shelter when it happens."
"We already had a chat about it, Jack and I. I agreed to look after you." Desmond grabbed Emma's hand and squeezed it reassuringly. She felt better about everything knowing he would always be there to protect her.
Emma breathed deeply, then plunged ahead. "There's a little more to it, Des. You won't just be protecting me. You'll be protecting my baby as well."
Desmond's book fell to the floor. He was speechless.

"Where are the children Ben?" she asked. As he carried her through to the bedroom. Placing her onto the bed she giggled as he fell on top of her.
"Richard is looking after them tonight." he replied in between kisses.
"Will they be....."
"They will be fine." he mumbled. "Honey its our wedding night, a night alone just us. Enjoy it" he whispered.
.....................................................
"Good morning Mrs Linus." Ben smiled as he lay watching her wake up. She smiled back rubbing her eyes.
"Don't you mean Moriarty?" she asked. Rolling onto her stomach to look at him.
"Thats just for show." As he got up from bed. "You best get change soon hunny. Richard will arrive soon with the kids and we have to get ready to move to our new home." Sophie stirred up and grabbed some clothes ben had neatly folded up on a chair the night before.

"Oh." Zoe replied, slighty shocked at such a brief invitation.
"Don't worry if you don't want to." Sawyer shook his head, avoiding Zoe's gaze. "It was just a suggestion."
"No, no, I'd love too!" Zoe replied. "It was just so....unexpected." Sawyer brightened.
"Great!" He beamed. "I'll see you at 8 then? The kids are welcome too, if you can't get a babysitter."
"Super." Zoe smiled, and Sawyer handed Abbie back to her, who, once he had left, started to cry. Zoe took them both inside to sort them both out.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zoe had both Abbie and Charlie Jr in their baby chairs, feeding them, when a tear stained face Juliet came throught the door.
"What are you doing?" She asked, looking between Zoe and their babies. Zoe stood up, and gazed at Juliet, and spoke in a firm voice.
"Ben's gone. He's not in control anymore. He can't stop me seeing my own children, and you can't either Juliet." Zoe said to her coldly. Juliet felt a tear roll down her cheek.
"Yes, you're right." She mumbled. "I shouldn't have let myself get inlovled. Never should have let him convince me to stop you." Juliet slumped down on the sofa. Zoe walked over to her, and sat down beside her, putting an arm over Juliet's shoulders.
"What's wrong?" She asked kindly.
"Oh, I don't want to bother you with my petty problems." Juliet mumbled, wiping away more of her tears.
"It's Jack isn't it?" Zoe asked warily. Juliet burst into tears.
"Hey, hey, it's going to be alright." Zoe soothed. "To be honest Juliet, you are a very intelligent woman, and you can do ALOT better then someone like Jack Sheppard." Juliet shook her head.
"You don't understand!" She wailed. "Jack trusted me when no-one else would. He knew I was a good person. He understood me."
"Oh please, Jack doesn't understand the concept of everything-doesn't-revolve-around him. He is self obsessed. He always has something - or someone he needs to fix. You Juliet, should know that better then anyone. Trust me. You can do better." Zoe replied supportivly.
"Oh yeah? Like who?" Juliet asked wiping her tears away, and raising an eyebrow.
"I'm sure the right guy is just around the corner! You just have to stop looking." Zoe replied, smiling.

Mel pounded hard on the door of the small house. Juliet answered it quickly.
"Mel?" she asked.
"Hi Jules." Mel smiled. "Can I come in?"
"Of course. I haven't seen you in ages."
"I know." Mel said as she sat down on the couch and Juliet sat across from her. "I'm sorry, things have been hectic."
Juliet looked down.
"How are you?" Mel asked.
"You must mean about Jack." Juliet smirked. "I'll be fine."
"Are you sure? He is quite a bastard for what he's done to you."
"I should have known it wouldn't go any farther than it had. I'm sure he would have made an awful husband. Always off righting some injustice."
Mel laughed, "That is Jack for sure. If it's a husband you're after, I'll be happy to lend you mine."
Juliet looked at the diamond on her ring finger, "So it's true."
"Yes. Christian Shepard, Jack's own father."
"You don't seem happy about it."
Mel forced a smile, "He's a wonderful man and he adores me. What more could I ask for?"
Juliet didn't push the subject but she knew Mel wasn't telling the whole truth.
"Anyway, Jules, I came here to ask you about Ben."
"Ben?" Juliet said in surprise.
"Yes, he is missing. Sophie and Molly as well. Have you seen him?"
Juliet shook her head, "Not in a few weeks. But honestly, I've been keeping to myself. I haven't left the house much. Is he in some kind of trouble?"
Mel nodded, "You could say that. It's important we find him."
"Where do you think he is?"
"The general consensus is that they are hiding out in the jungle. But we haven't been able to find them yet. Ben has numerous places on the island he could put to good use."
"That's true." Juliet agreed. "He could be anywhere."
Mel shrugged, "If you hear anything, would you let me know?"
"I will. Someone needs to do something about him. Lord knows he has lied to me too many times to count. In fact, it might be good if he is gone. Let him make his own way without anyone else to do his bidding."
Mel looked away from her.
Juliet leaned forward and hugged her, "Mel, I'm so sorry. I know you still care for him. I still find it hard to get over the things he's done to me. Sometimes I wonder if I ever will."
Mel smiled, "Don't worry, I understand. See you later Jules."
****************************************************
Mel quietly pushed the bedroom door open and saw Christian sitting up in bed, looking over something written on a notepad. She quickly undressed as she walked to the bed and slipped under the covers next to him.
He looked down at her expectantly, "Well?"
Mel's face didn't betray any emotion, "You can put Juliet on your list. She is one of the good ones."

Zoe had tucked her children in bed and left them to get a shower, washing the day off of her and getting ready for her date - wait, no it wasn't a date, just dinner - she assured herself as she washed her hair and got out the shower, putting her dressing gown on and wrapping up her hair in a towel.
She went by her normal business of getting ready, not noticing how she was putting more effort in then usual - being more precise when plucking her eyebrows, more accurate when applying make up, taking more time over her hair and making a fuss with choosing what outfit to wear.
She had just put jeans and a low cut top when she walked into the kitchen to get herself something to drink. Juliet was there making herself some dinner.
"Hi Juliet." She greeted. "Thanks again - for offering to look after Abbie and Charlie." Juliet smiled at her.
"Not at all." She replied kindly. "They are good children - good sleepers." Zoe took a hesitant pause, she didn't know much about her children afterall, she had only spent a day with them, it was strange listening to people who had been there since the day of their arrival. Juliet sensing something was wrong spoke up again. "Sorry - it just slips my mind that you haven't-"
"Don't worry about it." Zoe half falsly smiled, taking a sip of water. Juliet looked at her with her head tilted.
"You know, I think I might have something you might like to wear." Juliet suggested. Zoe replaced the cap on her bottle.
"Really?" She replied. "I was trying to pick out a dress from my things, but realised I never really was a dress person back at home. Just white lab coat." She half laughed.
"Follow me." Juliet smiled, and walked into her bedroom. Zoe followed to find Juliet open her wardrobe and take out some of her things, laying them out on the bed.
"I wore this-" Juliet began to explain, holding up a blue satin dress, it was gorgeous, Zoe thought to herself, but then the door was being pounded loudly.
"Oh, excuse me. Try what you want on. Borrow what you like, I don't mind!" Julet trilled before heading out the room to answer the door. Liking the look of the royal blue satin dress, Zoe tried it on immediatly, secretly listening to Juliet open the door.
She was in the middle of doing the zip at the back of the dress when Zoe heard Mel#s voice, she froze on the spot for a moment before going up to Juliet's bedroom door, opening it slightly, and listened in. Zoe hadn't encountered Mel for some time, and she had planned to keep it that way, especially after what had happened - she shook her head, not wanting to think about it.
She frowned at the mention of Ben's name, and Mel enquiring to ask whether Juliet had seen him. Didn't anyone know where he was? She thought Mel of all people would know something - especially given their past relationship with one another.
There was something different too in Mel's tone. Something strange that she couldn't put her finger on, but Zoe brushed this aside for now. She wasn't going to let it interrupt her evening.
Zoe resumed to doing up the dress. She posed in the mirror to see how she looked, feeling out of place, having not worn a dress since her prom seven or eight years ago.
She heard the door go and footsteps walk into the room.
"Wow, you look stunning." Juliet commented. Zoe saw Juliet in the mirror.
"Are you sure?" Zoe frowned slightly. "I dunno...dresses have never been my thing...and it's just dinner. Maybe I'll just stick to what I was wearing before." Zoe turned to face Juliet.
"Sorry...I don't mean to be rude or anything. Thanks for your help. It is a lovely dress." Zoe added.
"Oh don't be!" Juliet replied, shaking her head, waving her hands in the air at her. "Was just a suggestion." Juliet glanced at the clock on her bedside table and nodded at it.
"You better hurry. You've got two minutes to get over there." She pointed out.
"Oh s**t." Zoe muttered. and started to unzip the dress.

"Hey" Sophie said as she scooped up Molly and kissed her and the same with Bella and Willliam. "I missed you all so much" she said. She held Williams hand as he was still wobbly walking. Ben grabbed there belongings as they finally left the dump of a motel they had been staying the last few months. Richard tagged along to give them some help to settle into there new home.
Richard drove them up a wooded lane. It was peaceful and quiet it reminded sophie off the village back at the island. They drove up to their new home. A quiet wooded street with just a few houses down it. Richard got out the car. "Isn't it great?!?" he asked pleased as he was the one who found it for them.
"Its perfect" Ben said as he went to the boot of the car to take there belongings out. Sophie grabbed the kids and was amazed of the size.
"Its a 4 bedroom. Plenty of room for you all." said Richard.
"We can't afford this!" said Sophie.
"Sophie please don't worry. I'm dealing with it." Ben replied.
"Thats what im worried about." she said.
"Hey you must be the new neighbours." said a woman was planting in her garden. She got up taking her gloves off and shook Bens hand introuducing herself.
"Hi, Dean Moriarty, and this is my wife Rebecca." as he introduced them.
It was the first time Sophie had to use that name. "Pleasure to meet you" sophie said as her and the nieghbour spoke. While Ben and Richard took there luggage into the house.

Desmond remained speechless for several moments before he recovered his voice. He suddenly seemed agitated, as if this news meant something more to him than just the romantic jealousy that Emma had anticipated. He stood up and began pacing around the room. Emma sat and waited patiently for him to explain.
He finally spoke. "You're about six months pregnant when it happens in my flashes."
Emma smiled, and rubbed her still flat belly affectionately. "That's great, Des! That means we've got six months to figure out what Jacob has planned, and stop it in plenty of time!"
Desmond shook his head sadly. "There'll be no stopping it, Emma. One way or another, it's going to happen."
Emma felt there was much more to Desmond's knowledge than he was letting on, but he didn't say any more. She knew better than to pry; she trusted he would tell her when the time was right.
"Will we survive this war?" Emma asked quietly.
"Some of us will," was all he said, his eyes full of fear.

"Emma is pregnant." Desmond said abruptly.
Mel nearly spit out her drink in shock, "Really?"
"Aye." Desmond nodded.
"What a horrible time to have a child. How far is she?"
"Maybe two months?" Desmond figured.
Mel nodded. "She still has a while then. That could be good or bad."
"You know everything that is going to happen don't you?" Desmond asked.
Mel nodded, "Sometimes I wished I didn't. I wish I could be blind to it all and only learn of it when it happens. Do you ever feel like that with your flashes?"
Desmond looked at her thoughtfully, "Only every day luv."
Mel smiled bitterly, "Instead I get to do their dirty work. Finding out who is good or bad. Let me tell you, they have a skewed vision of things, espescially John Locke."
"You just keep surviving Mel. That is your main priority. Trust me, you're going to be needed in the future."
"Am I?" Mel couldn't help but ask curiously.
"Aye. This purge isn't the only danger that will befall the island. Old friends will return one day."
"And the fight will start all over again. Do we ever get to live in peace Des?"
"Now that luv, depends on whose side you're on when the battle is done."
"You're so cryptic Des. All this future talk is giving me a headache." she laughed.
"Then I should leave you in peace." he smiled. "You're dear husband is coming anyway."
"You don't have to disappear every time he comes near me."
"Trust me luv, it's for the best." Desmond said as he kissed her on the cheek and left around the house.
