i don't remember saying ben was never coming back and shes not with richard atm because shes rebelling against jacob and him. Hence why thomas is now dead.
also i sent ben off because zoe needed him.
and i thought locke was leader?

Ladies, I thought we were about to wrap this one up and have the RP4. i was ending it for me so i could do just rp4. But i always said when i created rp4 that this one could carry on. As im the creator of this rp im fine for it too continue!! |

What are you mad about Soph? Ben said he was coming back to the island. And the thing with Mel and the island is something I have building up to for ages. And I know y'all want to stay with the TV show but we are so far from it now it really doesn't make sense. Don't think I am having a go at you or anything, cuz am not, just wanted to point out though, that yes, we are far far far from staying with the tv show storyline, but really, only because you have written it that way. I myself have done my best to stick with it - like, I kept Charlie dead, even though I would have loved more then ever to keep him alive etc, I thought it was best to keep with how he had been written off in the show. I thought the same would apply to other characters - like Ethan and Mikhail, but then they were brought back, and Keamy who is meant to remain dead, but still brought back. But other characters who have been killed off, I have tried to hint that they are still dead, but then straight after, it was hinted that they werent by someone else, completly contraicting my post, so I can't ever win with my storyline! Like the dead thing....I thought it would have been a good storyline for those who had been killed off and brought back could never die, I got inspired for that idea off torchwood , that Captain Jack can never die. I wanted that kind of theme, and thats why I suggested, but then it got changed and I wasn't even asked, even though other people agreed with me. It just seems that this rp is a bit one sided. Sorry, now I really am going on and on and on, and I am really really really sorry, I don't want to seem like I am having a go or anything, cuz I hate arguing, and try to avoid them like crazy, but its loads of little bits building up, and the post with Mel being leader of the island did kind of annoy me a bit, cuz it seems like you are just taking over the whole rp. Again, sorry sorry sorry sorry! I hope I haven't offended you, or anything, cuz like I said, I don't want to cause a fuss and I hate falling out with people! *runs* |

It's a good thing Emma's too busy shagging Jack on her honeymoon to pay attention to this bickering!! ;D ;D ;D To be honest, I'm hopelessly confused by this, but here are a few thoughts I've had. I think straying from the telly plotline was inventive and fun, and as I'm far behind everyone and don't even know what happened in S4 it was the only way for me to contribute to the RP, so I apologize if anything I wrote was too outlandish. To me, the purpose of an RP is to play off each other's posts and to continually go in new, creative directions, which I think we've done really well thus far. This requires quite a bit of flexibility with storylines, however, and if this isn't what people want to be doing then maybe it's something that should be stated at the outset going forward. Our RP is fabulous and is constantly evolving - if it's not ready to end yet, don't fight it. I'm perfectly okay with that. I am also completely open to continuing Emma's story if it helps someone out with their plotline as well - just let me know. Just some thoughts, for what it's worth. In this forum, all storyline issues can be resolved with just a little bit of creativity - again, that's the nature of an RP!!

I do agree with you Jo  See, this is why I don't normally like saying anything, cuz I don't want to come across as a bad person, but once I started writing how I saw things, I couldn't stop. Hence why my rant went on ridiculously, and now I feel bad  But I still do think I have made some valid points, which I am stubbornly sticking by for now (am as bad as Jack in that sense) And now I feel bad for doing that, but I can't stop myself! Hence why i started rp4 so we were most used to the way we like it. me and zoe have kept staying with the tv show because thats how it started it off. Me and zoe were here from the beginning. Not once in the beginning of the RP was it ever said that we were following the show to the letter. How is it possible for anything to evolve if we copy the show?
I do think it is kind of humorous that this same issue seems to come up every few months when I write something you're not happy about. I can't count the number of times I have changed my story to accomodate what someone else has written and I don't complain about it. It's not that big of a deal, this is just for fun.
Anyway, consider Mel's part done. I honestly don't have any hard feelings and I love you all but this RP has just gone on too long.

well it was kina obvouis we were sticking to the story from beginning. The people that were with us at the time. Knew aswell.
The story does evole if you stick to the timeline. It has done on rp4 and has done well with previous rps and ones ive done before.
well this happens every now and then because we get annoyed and im sorry but i do have to say how i feel at the time sometimes its harsh but its better out than in.
I was annoyed last nite because you said you had done apart from your thing. But then it felt like after i made my post and so you had to go one step ahead and ruin my plotline.
i'll be glad mine will be done and then i won't be the wicked witch of the west no more.

I'm sorry but I'm not going to feel bad about anything I have written. I love my part of the story and think it is good.
I was going to have that part with Mel and Jacob all along. She is Widmore's daughter, the island used to belong to Widmore so now it has passed to her. Makes sense. Then when you said Ben was coming back I had to add something with him for it to make sense with Mel. Ben coming back would be a big deal for Mel so I really couldn't just ignore it.
