I'm a writer/editor. I edit and rewrite articles on economics for a journal and for lots of monographs, bulletins, reports, etc. (I work for the US Government.) I used to edit college textbooks for Prentice Hall. The subjects were in the sciences, math, engineering, medical, computer science, chemistry, biology, etc. Chances are that I edited some of your textbooks. As a hobby, I write fan fiction, blog, role play, and I also have a guest columnist position at 2guystalking.com. I'm supposed to write about LOST, but I spread Michael!Love whenever I can. So you see, I can't even give a simple answer without writing an essay. LOL. :)That sounds so cool! I've just finished my degree in Economics and would love a job like that! As for right now, after 6 years at uni, I'm having a break but I'll have to get a job soon. *sighs*

I am a state registered Biomedical Scientist who is fortunate enough to have her employers pay for her to go to uni once a week so i can study MSc Cellular Pathology (its part of a requirement for continual professional development). Once i've finished that i'm hoping to do a PhD

We have 12,000 economists working in my building alone.

I'll be the IT nerdy one then ;D
I am a Software Consultant specialising in the design, configuration and implemenation of Supply Chain software - basically start to finish projects. I work with one brand of software - a business giant called SAP.
I love the diversity and challenge of what I do and although it doesn't sound very creative I have to say there are times when I have come up with some very creative solutions. I love "tinkering" with the system and getting it to do new and exciting things - that's the bit where I get the most job satisfaction but it's just one part of the job.

*giggles at Edith* Refreshing! Sorry, that just made my evening.
I'm kinda in the IT nerdy crowd with an educational spin as I work for a University. My job involves finding new and exciting technology for students and such to use. I got my BS in Electrical Engineering - not very interested in that field though. BOrrrrrr-ing.

Well, I'm still in secondary school. I'm just after doing transition year which is basically forth year but you can choose to do it or not. So I'm going into fifth year, the year before you leave. I don't know if I'll go to college. What I am planning to be is an actor, I have the experience and the drive and I hope it works out, if not then who knows ;D

I am a student. Snore. But I plan to go to cosmetology school. FX and regular makeup are my specialty. I am majoring in theatre in college as well. It's pretty badass because I live in the midwest and I have a list of colleges I am applying to, and a Drake rep. came to my school and tried to recruit me. It would be cool to go to Michael's former school.

I'm an administrative support person in the records management dept. of an insurance company. (exciting I know. LOL.) It's a long term temp position that I hope will become permanent. For volunteer things/ hobbies I'm the treasurer for my apartment complex's residents council and a member of my neighborhood's peace activist group. I also dabble in web design and some graphic design. (I've only been doing it for about two years and I love it. I'm working on learning more HTML and some Javascript now.)
