Great thread. Thanks for sharing  Hee hee - would liked to have seen his reaction to the "sexy issue" ones. Me, too. I think he smiled and thought, "these people are wild." "You guys are out there" were his words to sum it up a few months ago, so that works too. |

Does anyone know what Ben's entire speech during Colleen's funeral was? We only got to hear part of what he was saying because Jack and Juliet were talking, but he was still talking in the background; Closed Captioning didn't reveal it. It began, "As we prepare to send Colleen on her way, I'd like to take a moment to...." I'm curious as to whether it was just general words typically spoken at a funeral or whether he was saying anything revealing about Colleen or the "Other's" work.

Edith, thanks again for sharing the note from Michael and your letter as well. Your letter was a tribute to the folks here who really make this place a good place to stop on the net. And Michael's letter was of course sweet and intelligent and very respectful, as always. It's alway nice to see such thing especially in contrast to some of the pettiness and nastiness I come across in my day. Thanks.

It was made by Penyours who is one of the main people who transcribes "the whispers" and other hidden audio on the show. "Okay here is the transcript for Ben's speech at Colleen's funeral. Ben is talking to the others in the background, while Jack and Juliet have their conversation. "Ben's Speech at Colleen's Funeral (One note about this transcript Ben speech seems to be cut up into small snippets, sometimes his speech is cut off of Jack and Juliet talking, others times it appears that the snippets of speech have been incongruously placed next to each other. These places are signified with the {cut} symbol) "As we prepare to send Colleen on her way I¹d like to take a moment for all the...everyone here...{cut}...whose I can take/truth is I can take...From the moment she set foot on this island she prevented... {cut} can't help her...Can¹t remember feeling anything but safe when she¹s...
