If you think about it, aside from the women, Henry/Ben is the only male character they have pretty much teased us with, as far as being actually shirtless. No problem, show Jack or Locke or Jin in all their glory - but make sure you only see Ben's shoulders, maybe a little more but that's all.
Either they know he's the hottest one or they're ashamed of the belly ;D
-or they consider him too dignified/mysterious to appear like that ;D c'mon...

Probably in kindness to us But as henrygale brought up, he'd have to go nude in his dream role of King Lear. (Different situation, I know, but it's a bit odd for a guy to refuse being shirtless on a TV show but then be fine with going the whole monty in a play, probably a pretty high-profile one. anyway... the last pic kills me.
