I love that too. I also do that It is just the way I speak. Sometimes, late at night I don't speak like that. For the most part, I am proud of the way I speak.

I like that you said it sounded cultured. It's true. He is just excellent.

This long article pitting Michael against Terry says that Michael comes out on top voice-wise:

K, watched the TV Guide interview w/o sound. I know, I know and silence that wonderful voice, am I MAD? But wait here's a thought. We all know how wonderful Michael's voice is. He could just do audiobooks, and I'd be in heaven. But add the visual, and here's how I think he adds dimension to his voice: He moves his upper lip. Most folks when you just watch their mouths, it's their lower lips that do all the movement and contortion, but Michael adds the top lip. He tends to pull it off the side or curl it on one side, and the mouth tends to add some sort of visual choreography, if I may use that term, to the sounds he's making. I think that's mesmerizing.
