I have the video showing Michael playing the piano. It is a bit of spoiler. Don't watch if that's a concern. Or just watch the first few seconds. As soon as he stops playing the piano, go away. You can see it here. Click on the "Lost 4X09 Spoiler" square to view it.

OMG! I watched the movie, "Amadeus," today and wondered whether Michael played the piano in the play! He played Mozart, right? I think Salieri would have been a better role for him, actually.

Yes, he played Mozart. I was surprised that in the movie, Mozart wasn't a completely serious person. I would've liked to have seen how Michael played the role.

Well, he did say he always played the comic roles when he was in theatre...

I was puzzled when he said that because I never considered 'Hamlet,' 'The Tempest,' 'Romeo and Juliet,' 'The Crucible,' or any of Shakespeare's plays as being comical; I thought they were dramas.

What is the music he's playing. It's familiar but it's not coming to me.

It's Rachmaninoff's Prelude in C-sharp minor.

I got to thinking. I think that's a hysterical musical pun on the part of the producers to have Ben playing that tune just before all H breaks out.
