I with both of you. I won't be able to take the wait until February, which incidentally is the month of my birth so it will be sort of an early birthday present, but argh how can they do that to us. I don't care about reruns. Just show it all in one run. Don't make us wait like this. It's inhumane.

Bah! That was an evil cliffhanger. Waiting one week would be bad enough.....but making us wait 3 months is just uber evilness.
Great episode though.

I was very disturbed watching him go under the knife. Having just had surgery myself, it was all too real and all too easy to empathize. Asking for ALEX on the table? Aha!! I knew he was her father!! Or at least he raised her as his own. I know, I know, pure speculation. And who the heck is JACOB?? Ok, more speculation here: If Ben (meaning 'son of") is Jacob's son, and the Biblical Jacob and Esau were twins, and twins skip a generation, then any biological child of Ben would be a twin! My mind is racing.

Four months is a long time for poor Ben to be on the operating table. I thought jack said he had an hour? Hahahaha! I know I'm a dork. February seems so far away! What torture.

What a cruel ending! A really dramatic episode, I thought they were going to kill Sawyer! So, 3 months before knowing if Ben will survive...

I knew they would do something like this! Damn. I hate Jack. Poor Benny the way he counted backwards from 20..aww. Mike's arms are nice. ..*_* <3 There should have been more Ben screentime in this one. I think that this episode could have done without the Sawyer and Kate crap, but eh. Did anyone else think the way Locke was talking about Eko was adorable? It was really sad, but really cute at the same time. It reminded me of last season when he was crying in the woods. I am REALLY looking forward to seeing ma' man Andrew Divoff when LOST comes back! COME BACK TO US LOOOST!~ :U

... just finished wiping the last tears from my eyes - I knew it would end with Ben in surgery (45 minutes were too short to tell the whole story with all this Kate & Sawyer stuff in it) but nonetheless I never expected Jack to hurt him willingly! Mmmh - the question about Alex was sweet but Juliet the deceiver lied once again... (so it wasn´t a scheme when she showed Jack those pictures - or was it??) Some intense moments - Ben confronting Jack when he held the loaded weapon... although predictable it was cool (and one of Ben´s famous dry answers again - the perverbial nail on my coffin). Great episode (and hey - Nathan Fillion guest starred ). But I am fairly certain that Ben will survive the surgery and the inflicted wound so time will be long til february but... still have all the 14 eps to rewatch )

Does anyone know the name of the Other who was with Kate in Sawyer's cage at the end of this episode? I'm writing my own script for the next episode (to stop me going insane with lack of new Lost lol) and at the moment he is just called "Other Other" lol.

and twins skip a generation And this is why I will not be having children. I don't want to endure the pain of one, much less two. We have two sets of twins in my family. One set, which includes my dad are identical, and the other is fraternal with a boy and a girl. I think about this and the prospect of pregnancy and just go "eep".
