Omg, Leigh, do you think our dream is going to come true?? The next season is the one in Dallas, maybe Michael will play Stan after all!! Ah, that would be brilliant! Carrie helps make True Blood fantastic and Michael would make it even better. Wouldn't that be wonderful!!! We'd get Michael as Stan... and then maybe we could get Kevin (Keamy) as Quinn?!? LOL We'd both be in heaven, wouldn't we Mel? I have only watched snippets of the show so far - I don't get HBO - but will watch them completely once they come out on DVD. I love the books they are based on, so I'm hoping I like the show too. There's quite a bit of sex in the books (part of why I like them so much ;D) and given the show is on HBO... not surprising it is near-porn. I have always loved vampires, so getting to see Michael play a vampire would be a match made in heaven for me. Edith - thanks so much for posting the picture. My stupid scanner is acting up and refuses to work. I need to reinstall it. Grrrr. |

Thanks for the article; I've been wondering how Carrie and Michael met because of their 13 or 14 year age difference, who talked to whom first, whether Carrie thought Michael was younger when she first saw him ;D, etc.

...They also mention Michael possibly showing up on True Blood at some point... *fingers crossed* OMG, I hope that he doesn't get on that show. From the fact that predators are idolized to the fact that the fangs of the vampires are on the incisors and not on the canines, this show is just play awful. It is full of gratuitous sex, as well as blood and gore. I am not against sex, but this show is nearly pornographic. I would say that it is soft-porn. Really would not like to see Michael lower himself to that level just to make his wife more famous.  Yuck. I agree. I'd read a couple of actors call acting "prostitution;" I thought only T.V shows were into showing gratuitous scenes, not theatre, so I was surprised that my local theatre warned people wanting to audition for 'Les Liason Dangerouse,' that there would be partial nudity. I read that the two young actors were nude for 'Equus,' and didn't mind it. I'm getting the feeling like that's becoming more and more expected of actors, nowadays, and that I wouldn't be able to escape from not doing it. Very cute pic, but the article got his age wrong, but that's understandable. Whenever anyone needs an article about Michael written, they should just get us to do it so there won't be any mistakes. Why that thought hasn't occurred to those journalists yet is well beyond me!! Yeah, I don't understand what they're paid for when they make mistakes about the people they write about; It seems to me as though they don't take the time to read anything. |

If you don't feel right in doing nude scenes, you just have to stand up for your right not to do them. The problem is that too many actors are giving up on that right. It is exciting to do it. Some people get caught in the moment. However, unless you don't mind your family seeing you in the buff, you should think long and hard about doing nude scenes. Aside from shocking your family and feeling like s**t for doing it, your picture may end up on the Internet. Yes, the public are told not to take pictures, but not everyone listens. I have taken a few clandestine photos during performances. Here's one of my most recent one:  Then again, Michael has resisted (he has a no-nudity clause) and I have a feeling that Carrie has the same clause. (Although I cannot be sure of that one.) |
