I'm a member of a community that makes fanmixes for characters, ships etc on Livejournal. I'm gonna make a Benjamin Linus fanmix, with songs available for download, 'CD covers' for each song, and an explanation of why I chose that song.
I started today, so without the downloads, this is what I've got so far.
Up Jumped the Devil – Nick Cave
Ben was doomed from the start. Quite literally a born killer, neglected and psychologically abused by his father, his next father figure appeared in the form of Richard. But even the smiling stranger has his own sinister reasons, moulding Ben into a ruthless leader and coercing him into murdering his entire community. Roger, Richard and Jacob turned Ben into what he is.
Last Train Home – Ryan Star
We know nothing about Annie and Ben’s relationship, but it’s easy to mostly guess at.
Independence Day – Bruce Springsteen
Ben could become president of the United States. It wouldn’t matter to Roger, who views his own son as an unknowable little killer. Time for Ben to leave home…by killing his father.
