Ha! I was walking to work today and a car passed by that made the exact same sound Smoky does, that sort of wheezing and chuffing noise. It was weird. Did you run? ??

My orchestra team was assigned to play a part of Michael Giachinno's "Holywood and Vines" for our school's drama production. (remember the marching song?) A few hours later I went to a local supermarket, and saw 2 people wearing the DHARMA Security T-shirt. (I think it's on the ABC store website)
LOST is all around! *hums*

Everytime I see or hear the word "lost" I always think of LOST. That's true geekiness, me thinks. I always think of the characters when I hear their names. There's a caretaker at my school that my friend fancies called Richard. And my friend has about 5 guys crushing on her called Ben. And my mum bought my sister some fish for her birthday yesterday, and she called them Golidlocks and Penny. I have a fish named after a LOST character! Yaaay ^_^ Of course, my sister didn't name it after Penny Widmore, but you get the idea. We're hoping to get a dog at some point, and I'm gonna make sure it's called Ben. That's such a great name for a dog.

I have a friend called Jacob and yesterday, me and a few friends were at the beach. Jacob and a friend were having a play-fight in the sand. Jacob accidentally pushed the other guy into the water and as he sat there in the sea, he looked up at Jacob so piercingly and said; "I hope you're happy now, Jacob," in this really creepy voice.
I burst into laughter and they had no idea why.

Awesome!!! I was in NYC recently - to see Michael!! - and kept trying to capture the Smokey sound from the receipt machine on my cellphone recorder. The first cab didn't make the sound. The second cab made the sound but I didn't have my phone ready to record. The third cab didn't have it. So it wasn't meant to be!

wearing my "Jacob loves me..." shirt at work. A young cute student walks up to me and handed me some movies he wanted to check out. He says "Why yes I do love you, even if Ben didn't tell you so." I scanned his card and his name was Jacob. He talks to me every time he comes in the library now

I agree Belle, everything reminds me of Lost, I think at the moment every word in the English language has some connection to Lost sometimes it drives me crazy.

Ali, that's hysterical!! Can your Jacob spill the island's secrets?
Caz, I drive my boyfriend nuts because I relate every single experience/conversation/road sign/photograph/tv show/news headline etc etc. back to 'Lost.'
Don't know what I'll do when it ends, it's sort of my roadmap to life...

Since I watch Sports Center all morning, and ESPN is a division of ABC/Disney, I hear that annoying Lost 'shipper' promo about the triangle/quadrangle four times a day. That's pretty much the only time I hate seeing Lost on TV. But the Sade song over the promo debuted its own music video today, and it made Google Trends. So I wound up writing about the song and its Lost connection for Associated Content today - so at least it can net me some hits. Still, I chose not to rant about the promo and how it highlights the wrong things, since the topic was just the song.

I don't know what's going on over here but haven't seen any Lost promos since just before Christmas. I suspect we will see something in the next day or so as SKY 1 are repeating S5 every weekday leading up to S6 premiere (If anyone's interested s5 starts thurs 14th Jan 3:30pm daily, Sky 1) Only thing that annoy's me about Lost being on this early is that they cut bits out, if they don't want to affend anyone they should put it on after the watershed.

I'm so obsessed with Lost that even a trip to the supermarket reminds me of it. Today I went shopping with my mum and spent the whole time walking round with a big grin on my face as I went down isles with 'Uncle Bens' rice products, Soya milk (Sawyer), Echo bars (Chocolate), Jacobs Creek (alcohol) etc. Oh and down the medicine isle looked at sinus relief tabs and changed it to Linus relief ha ha ha Anyone else want to add any?

I have a lost moment every time I'm starting my classes. Always, when I'm in coatroom on my university I think if I get some 'LOST number'. Today it was 23, few days ago 8. I always think if it's going to be unlucky day for me. When I got an exam and my coat is hanging on lost numer I ask cloakroom attendant to hang it on another hook. At the beginning he was looking at me like I was crazy but he got used to it
