If I hadn't known that this was taken in his and Carrie's apartment I would think it was Ben's house. Even the wall color fits!
That painting behind them is fantastic. The decor is kind of like how I've decorated my house with all of the tribal/southwest pieces like the masks and pots. It makes sense here since I live in Texas. But it is really cool to see that type of decorating in New York.

I guess I take the masks are there for two reasons. One, masks were really a hot decor/interior design item some years ago, still are I guess. and two, masks tie into the theatrical element — an actor wears a masks.
It's true his decor is like Ben's. Even that photo cluster in the room behind them. It's actually kind of creepin' me out.
But that could be I just don't like masks much. That's just me, and I am a minimalist, although you'd never know it from my looking at my apartment.
