Hope I'm not crossing a privacy border by asking this question - if so, please feel free to delete & have Sayid turn up on my doorstep with a bloody big stick. I'm asking this on behalf of a mate - told him "Ben's" wife would be in this week's Lost episode, so he found her picture online and now he's in love.
It's just that we find it impossible to tell her age - from the pictures she seems early thirties or even late twenties, but given her husband's age that's unlikely. IMDB doesn't have her DOB listed. Does anyone know?

Carrie's fair game to a certain point ( ...a respectful point), since she's in the business, as well. No lines crossed. No Sayid at your doorstep. Or Locke with a stick of dynamite. As Edith said...it seems Carrie wants her age to be kept private. I say she's 27 years old (...and has been for some time, and will be for the rest of her life). Same as my mom.

Oops...really sorry, and there was us giving out about IMDB not doing their job properly! You can delete this thread if it's better? My friend's will be actually 27 in July himself so he'll be pleased to hear

It doesn't need to be deleted. No problems. ( She's not really 27, that's just a joke. A totally realistic joke, if you're reading this, Carrie. )

My guess? Mid- to late-thirties.

If you go onto IMDB, someone apparently knows her sister, and Carrie turned 40 last year.

On the one hand I think this is petty, but on the other, just the fact that it's not listed burns a hole in my brain, so I researched what I thought might be a credible source, the New York Times theater clippings available online to subscribers. An article from December 1995 gave her age as 28 (and stated that she looked 21). It's petty, really it is. And part of me thinks this is a silly conversation but another part of me thinks there is no shame in age. And what's more if once it was OK to list the age, it should be now. So why the mystery? You can do the math or not. But seems 40 is about right.

So she's around the age of the character her husband plays on TV.
