I have two images that would make a cute animated avi, but I'm not sure how to put them together so they're animated. Is there a special software that does this? I'm just learning the avi game, so I'm fairly incompetent when it comes to this.
Your advice would be much appreciated!!
Cheers!!

it depends on what your using. A picture? or a video clip? because when i make my avis i cut the lost clip i want on my video editing program (sonyvegas) then i use ulead gif and open the video file on there. Cut it down so it plays quickly change size add font etc and then save it as a gif file. if its a picture, then you basically add the two pics together and select what time speed your want them to animate. i really not sure what you want? and im crap and explaining ROFL i get frustrated easily

they are still photos, basically screenshots, in both png and jpeg format.
I will look into software - maybe there is an open office version of it??
Thanks for the help!
