We've just added a feature that allows you to quote multiple posts by clicking a button, instead of having to reply to each one separately or copy and paste each time. If the code causes any problems for you (for example, if you notice it stops another feature from working), please let me know right away and I'll look into it. This is how Multiple Quote works: At the bottom of every post there is this new option that says "Add Quote" underneath the post, like in the picture below. (click for bigger picture) Whenever you want to quote multiple posts, just click that button on all the posts you want to quote. If you accidentally add a quote that you decide you don't want anymore, then just press the "Remove Quote" button. Now, after you are done deciding what you want to quote, go to either the bottom of Quick Reply or press "Reply" and go to the bottom of the page, where the topic summary is located. Next to that, it should now say,"View Quotes." (click for bigger picture) Click "view quotes". Press the "insert quote" button to enter the quotes into your post. Those are the basics. If you want to read about other features that Multiple Quote has, there is a tutorial here: lunaranubis.proboards86.com/index.cgi?board=announcements&action=display&thread=5181

At the bottom of the page, you'll see an option to "View Quotes" - select this, and then all the quotes that you earmarked will appear. Select "Insert quote" next to the quote you want to include in your reply to the thread and it will appear in your post. Does this make sense?

It says: Unable to save quote 0 due to limitation on cookie size. To increase storage capacity consider using a browser that supports a global storage mechanism such as Internet Explorer 5.0+ or Firefox 2.0+

It says: Unable to save quote 0 due to limitation on cookie size. To increase storage capacity consider using a browser that supports a global storage mechanism such as Internet Explorer 5.0+ or Firefox 2.0+ What do you use for a browser? Have you tried upgrading to the newest version? Are cookies enabled on your current browser? I've never seen this problem before, but I imagine it could be solved by tweaking the options in your browser's 'Tools' menu, if upgrading doesn't solve it. Otherwise, my computer expert boyfriend tells me it might be a security issue, like spyware or a virus. Have you scanned your computer for viruses lately? It might be able to locate and/or zap anything that's harming your computer. Flummery will probably have some better solutions, but you can start here.

i use both internet explorer and firefox and both are upgraded, the cookies are enable and my antivirus hasn't detected anything...
dunno what could be wrong... i'm investigating with the IT team here at work, but can't give a lot away cause fan boards aren't allowed while in working hours...
if someone else knows what could be wrong, please let me know...
Thanks TigerL and Flummery

The only thing I can think to suggest is to clear your cookies, or selectively delete the ones set by this board, and see what happens then. Are you still getting the warning message every time you click on a thread?

I clear the cookies and i think it's working fine now... haven't seen the waring message while posting my last two post, so i guess it's gone.
Thanks for your help!
