I've seen a few plays using that modern technique and I've been sceptical, too, the first time, but it really does work in its own way. using that method for a shakespeare play might look weird on first sight, but I'm sure it can turn it into something completely new and still be quite interesting!

I'm curious. Were the Shakespeare plays translated into German? Did the words rhyme? Now that this is the second time that the 'Lost' cast has performed for the HYT, I hope the person who videotaped the 2007 performance will show some of it online; I think it'd be terrible and sad to have to wait 20 years or until Michael isn't living, before possibly, finally, getting to see what he'd done.

I think the scripts were just because it was a fairly informal performance with no time to learn all the lines rather than any particular theatrical technique. I once went to see a radio recording of King Lear once where everyone had scripts, and it was a bit distracting at first but the actors were good enough that I forgot about it.
