Anyway, I wrote to Michael (almost wrote Ben then, rofl) around the 26th February. First time writing to ANY actor or celeb. I included a short note praising his greatness (hah) and printed off some nice photos of Winchester, UK (near where I live) because I read on here in a reply to you guys that he wanted to be an archaeologist when he was younger. Winchester if you don't know, is really REALLY old. Ancient capital of ye olde England and all that jazz. Oh and Jane Austen lived here once upon a time
Oh and I dropped in the hint that it would be my birthday on March 10th
So, I included 2x IRC's as suggested on here and lo and behold what drops through my letter box today...
Wheee! I love that photo shoot set! Sadly my scanner appears to be utter gash - it doesn't have that weirdness going on with the lines on my actual photo. I think the way the photo has been printed means it messes with the scanner sensor or something. I dunno.
Anyway, turnaround of a month, AND to the UK! I'm impressed
I wasn't impressed by the postman though, photo was a bit bent but nothing a glass frame won't sort out.
I'm so happy
hey, great success! congrats and he answered really fast, he's awesome

I've got finally my IRCs which I ordered 1 month ago!! So I'm ready to send my photos & my letter to Michael But i have a question about the IRC's: Today I brought envelopes at our local post office and I asked the lady there if I have to to devaluate the IRCs before I put them into the envelope. She said no, it will be fine and i have to do nothing with it. Is this correct? I actually dont trust the post office people ;D
arrg...nope..that is wrong... .i had the same situation..but the IRN must be stamped.....but michael was so nice he send it back to me...and wrote this...lol:
so i hope and belive that he will write back to you!

IRCs must be validated (stamped)!! in Australia, if one post office refused to validate them, you can take it somewhere else even though you purchase it in another post office. ;D Just remember, IRCs MUST be STAMPED!

okay, I will go to the post office today again and I will try to explain how it works to the ppl there
IRC's aren't available in Ireland so I sent him $20 because I didn't know how much they were. He sent the money back. That was unbelievably nice of him.
