I only caught a few minutes of it (got distracted by the Internet, as usual, but I had my recorder set). Going to watch it later. Then I'll work on getting some screen caps from it (and some other shows) to post.

Check the Movie and TV Pics board, I put some up. Where exactly is the "Movie and TV Pics" board? I can't seem to locate the link.

Yeah, I can't find it either. And on the "some screencaps" thread where there is a link to the movie and tv pics board every time I click on the link I get a "you're not allowed here" message.

Let me check it out, and if I can't fix it, I'll ask Katie. It sounds like some sort of board access problem. --- This is what it looks like on my screen: img.photobucket.com/albums/v54/EvilRaisin/m-e/9f767025.jpgI checked the settings, and they match the settings of all the other boards... So, if you guys still aren't seeing it, let me know. Katie must know more about proboards than I do. How many boards do you guys see? update:Update: Okay, so I registered a new name (on which I'm a regular member instead of administrator), Argyle, and under that I see that only the first 3 boards show up! I had no idea. Oookay. So, what I'm going to do first is ask on the proboards help board and find out what they say. I'll try to get this figured out asap. update:I got a response at proboards help, and I believe I've fixed the problem. Sorry, guys, I had no idea it was messed up!

I'll be in the hospital this Thursday night for Michael in "Phantom" on USA network.
My surgery is Wednesday, 7:40am August 16th...tick tock tick tock.
My hope (among other hopes) is that the hospital TV service has USA so I can watch it! Usually they have the network stations and TBS and TNT and USA...if I'm lucky.
How awesome and comforting would it be to have Michael up there on the screen while I'm in my hospital bed....with the back of my hand to my forehead...cough cough...so dramatic!!!
And if a nurse comes in to get my vitals or something while it's on, I'll have to tell her "SShhhh!! Don't you know that's Michael Emerson up there on the screen? Really!!"

Lisa,
You may have to also tell her to wait until Law & Order is over to check your pulse because lets face it-when Michael's on screen, all of our hearts are beating faster than normal.....(Or is that just me?)

I missed the start of it, but this scene, what I saw of it? Very nearly burnt a hole in the TV screen. ;D His voice... Curse typecasting! Michael is obviously suitable for far more "types" of roles than he gets. (Romantic lead! Romantic lead! If Elijah Wood and Paul Bettany can do it, so can he!) Ahem. Aside from that... I should stop being surprised at how good his acting is. But it's fun getting chills The only thing I would say is - have any of you seen him cry actual tears in his work? I've seen a few "crying" scenes of his, now, and doesn't look like he does. Not that I'd knock him for it - crying on cue looks, and purportedly is incredibly hard to do (which I guess is why those who CAN do it are so lauded.... and so quickly lined up for oscar noms ) I don't know... I remember reading comments about Alexis Bledel's acting on TwoP's Gilmore Girls forum - people were kind of making fun of her unsuccessful, almost painful-looking attempts to produce tears in crying scenes. They mentioned some interview with Alexis and her "Traveling Pants" costar America Ferrera, who began talking about how she hates actors who do crying scenes and never actually cry, just pretend to, and Alexis is supposedly sitting next to her with this frozen, funny smile. It just seems unfair to me - for whatever reason, some actors can, and others don't - they probably could, but the fact that they don't, can't, or simply don't THINK they can says nothing about their acting ability. (Their emotional openess, maybe...) Sorry to hop on a soapbox/bunny trail for a moment, but I've always found the topic interesting. p.s. Amidala, hope you got to see it, and if you did, that it lifted your spirits Smooth recovery.
