ok, u know how we were supposed to find out who the gay character is in this episode? well, some people think it's Boone because of Shannon's comment at the airport. but, some other people think it's Ben!!!  because of Juliet's comment about jack. that would...uh...suck OH HELL NO! Ben isn't gay, that would REALLY make the show jump the shark! (the one with the Dharma logo!)  By the way, we find out in this episode that ben lied about coming for Locke, he was really coming for Jack! Well, at least now he has Locke AND Jack! Ha,ha! I SO can't wait until he pays Sayid a little "visit"! ;D |

Juliet was the one who left it there. I guess she was not a good OTHER. She said that the place gave her the creeps; so I imagined, she was so creeped out that she forgot her walkie-talkie. What I find amazing is that they did not miss the walkie-talkie at all. Don't you think that at some point at Othersville, she would go, "Hey, my talkie is missing. Oh, I know, I left it in the station. Let's go get it." And Ben would say, "What!!! You left your talkie there?" Tom would frantically run through the tunnel and not find it there. He would report back to Ben, "I think the castaways found the hatch. The talkie is gone." dum dah dum dah..... indeed! I haven't even thought of that until now. omg this is bad, isn't it? of course they'd have noticed - should have.. or juliet -did- notice, but was too afraid to tell, since well.. ben wouldn't be pleased, would he  then maybe they set up the thing for john sayid nikki and paulo to spot patchy on the tv's if u get what i mean  |

rednymph234, now that the hatch imploded this big magnet/whatever that was down there was destroyed, too. so there's no energy which is loading itself up, right? I guess the problem was just to find someone brave enought to use the key for the one using the key would probably mean to die during the explosion  well gladly desmond survived, I really like him! so now there's just this.. black smoke left in the jungle. I take it. benlinusisagoodguy, could be  that would be a really tricky plan, but a good one

Actually, he said he was coming for Locke before he escaped from the hatch- that was the purpose of his first trip to see the survivors, we assume. After he escaped, the mission switched from getting Locke to getting Jack and Kate and Sawyer- which was likely a backup plan the Others came up with while Ben was captured, and they let Ben know about it after they reunited with him. That plan was already under way by the time Ben and Juliet appeared in that hatch.
