Dear Michael Emerson,
You are a great TV actor! I love Lost, and I love Ben. You really make the role and the TV series.
However, you need to upgrade your Web site. It's stuck in a time loop! It's still 1996!! Time to discover XML and CSS. Or even Flash. I'm sure any number of Web shops in Honolulu or NYC would be glad to redesign it for you.

Maybe the fans and the web designer are happy with how the website looks?

You don't mean Edith's site, do you? Michael has no connection to that, and is the ultimate Luddite. Plus Edith's a little too busy right now to hear suggestions.

true, i found it quite rude that they said that. Edith has worked hard at what she has done for the site/here/gallery.

First, it seems rude to us, because we know and love Edith and are happy with the website, but beyond that I am extremely shocked that this person would have the gall to say that, thinking that he/she was directly addressing Michael himself!! Seriously, who says that to someone?!

Seriously, who says that to someone?! My thoughts exactly!

I'm betting the person is young since kids, nowadays, are growing up with the lastest gadgets, cellphones, IPods, Facebook, cable T.V, high speed internet, etc. So, naturally, they're expecting every site to have all of the lastest technology, too, and when a site like this (apparently) doesn't, it's quite a shock to them. ;D So, I found their comment amusing/entertaining and forgive them for saying that the website was bad. Also, being new, scrunchthecat doesn't know that Edith's son works on computers and she probably could have flash and all of that fancy stuff if she wanted to, but I, too, like the site just as it is. ;D I proudly say, "Yay, for the 90's...and luddites!"

What harm did the 90's ever do- aside from killing off every member of the DHARMA Initiative?

Well, there is that, bobdoc.
The comment leads me to believe the poster doesn't understand that this is an unofficial website, run strictly by fans with no input or feedback from Michael.
Perhaps if more comments like this come in, it might pay to have a disclaimer on the home page that this is not owned or run by Michael. But it seemed so obvious to me that this is a forum, using a service that offers forum services.

I wanted it to represent a man who still lives as if computer don't exist and that going to see a good Shakespearean performance is the best treat ever. Later on, the website became a megasite of infromation and of photos. Sounds like he wants to make money off of Michael. As always, he is welcome to contact me via pm. I am in touch with someone who wants to make accessing the photos of Michael easier. But right now, as much as I love Michael, my efforts are on getting better. I'm hoping to employ Bobdoc on helping me with updates. I have to employ someone for screencaps, The pay is not much, just love and adoration from happy fan girls.

Bonus points if Michael is performing in it!! ;D ;D ;D
