If you dont have a gold or silver pack, you have to pay for photoshoots there/ online when they go on sale (they are not on sale yet)- this gets very expensive if you want more than one. (put it this way, each photo is say usually about £20- you get six with gold or silver thats £120- thats already the difference between the standard and gold ticket, without the other extras you get with silver or gold tickets) I'm afraid just taking random photos is prohibited- it can get you banned from the convention and future ones- they don't want it to be like a paparazzi gathering- it puts the actors off wanting to attend other conventions/ functions ^ Yup I got it. I've now read all the stuff on the convention site and I'm so willing to go ;D Gotta convince my parents about travel and stuff now.. --> WHO'S GOING? @ Steph and Soph: You are going, right? May I ask you a few questions? * Did you both purchase a gold pack? * How long does it usually take before the silver/gold packs are sold out? Coz I need some time to organize the whole thing... * Are you gonna stay at an hotel in Northampton? If so did you already book the room? * Do you know/like the other series included in the convention or are you coming just for Michael? Oh reply via PM if you prefer no to share personal info! Thanx so so much huns Sorry I'm overexcited bout this xD... Yeah we are going- Fearandloathin (Zoe) is also going. The three of us have purchased gold packs. I have booked Soph and I a hotel room( about five weeks ago)- we are staying at the same hotel as the convention. I did that before, and it was much easier than travelling to and from the con each day. Zoe is staying nearby with some of her relatives. I'm not sure how quickly they will sell out, but I imagine as there are only 150 of each available (and they've been on sale since November) most are sold- everyone I know has either brought silver or gold) I am becoming obsessed with Fringe, but I haven't yet seen Alias- I am gonna borrow some DVDs from a friend who absolutely loves it (it has David Anders in it so it's gotta be good even if I just watch him LOL ) It's good to be excited

Great! I think I'm coming too! Oh my I gotta hurry then! Guess I'll have to get a gold one too, uh? So the hotel is The Park Inn, right? I'm planning to get a room there too, hope there's one still available.. If I manage to come, can I please meet up with you girls and do all the stuff with you? That would be so awsome! I've always wanted to meet you lovely people! Thanx again for all the advice and help you gave me! I think I'm gonna watch some episodes of the other shows too. Ain't David Anders the one who played Kensei in Heroes? Mmm..

Personally, I've only ever done gold (or the equivalent) you do get much more value for money- it's just a bit of a pain its so expensive. Yes it's the Park Inn- tell them u are attending the convention when you book- you get a discount on the rooms!! It will be lovely to meet up with you and do the stuff with you (if u are gold we can all stay together coz we get priority over everyone else- plus we get the exclusive cocktail party thing with the actors that the other tickets dont get at all)

To be honest, if you guys weren't going, I was thinking of selling my ticket so I didn't have to be on my own (although my friend Vicki is going, she is working there, so we wouldnt be together much anyway)
So thank you for getting tickets!!!

But he will likely have less fear that you'll let him live, nonetheless. Anyway, I'm going too! I bought the gold pass, and today I booked the room at the Park Inn. I might be on my own - since my only Lost-fanatic friend wants to come but he's not sure he will be able to - and I've never been to a convention, but I'm SOOOOO excited about this!!!

Oh, Sophie, Steph and y'all. You are going to have a blast! It could be a mini-MEFB convention. As for the worries about going somewhere by yourself. I totally understand. I used have second thoughts when I booked a trip to go somewhere by myself. I felt that way when I went on an archaeology dig in Wales, went to Vegas, decided to visit Zion National Park and southern Utah. For years I went to London to see plays by myself and that at first seemed weird, but I couldn't get anyone else willing to spend the money it took but I still wanted to see a play on the West End so much, I went anyway. Looking back I am so glad I decided to get over my reluctance to go do things by myself. I would have NEVER seen or experienced some really wonderful sights and sounds or met some of the most incredible people I know. I've discovered traveling alone has its benefits. And finally people are people, regardless where you go and they are generally friendly and just want to do what they're doing and be left alone as well. So GO!!! And have fun!!

M any of us on my other forum have met and become wonderful friends in RL just as well as on-line. When I moved to Indiana I made a pit stop in OHto meet an on-line buddy. He was so cool and owns a paintball shop, so hubby was in heaven, lol

Wish I could go. It would have been so cool meeting so many of you from the forum, and Michael would have been the icing on the cake. *sigh*
