Celebrity I guess. That video bit of him being escorted out of the building with bodyguards and people screaming. Wow. I guess for the time being he better get used to minders. I'm sure a couple years after "Lost" ends that hysteria will calm down. But he's crossed that threshold. Sigh. I always kind of liked the idea that he wasn't so much a star, but I guess that's not the case anymore.
Either way, still wish him the best. Hope this means we'll see him more in TV and movies.

mythicfeline: jepp..i agree with your thoughts...the hysteria about Michael is bigger than for a few years/months! I´m wondering, how he handle it..as we have seen, he lost weight ...is ti because of all the "public stress"?..dunno-....

Just my opinion, but anyone who seems to come into celebrity loses weight. They're always a few pounds too heavy for the camera, but not bad, but our media-twisted culture, people MUST BE THIN, and my guess is they have "help" in that way. Could be the stress of it, but more likely the push to look thin. I've seen it in so many public figures from entertainers to politicians.

Well, Michael has only one more year on Lost, then he'll likely go back to the theater or small movies, depending on what he gets offered. So assuming he lost the weight for celebrity's sake, it comes at a pretty late time in his big celebrity moment on Lost.
