What does mean "middle name"? Do you have a "middle name" too? Oh! I thought people around the world give their children a middle name; I guess some countries don't have that custom. I have a middle name, but I don't like it or use it at all; It was one of my grandmothers' first names and it sounds very old-fashioned to me and doesn't go well with my first and last name, nor with how I look. I've always thought, 'I want to change it,' but I don't know what name I'd change it to if I could, anyway. So, I like leaving it out. I think this site explains it well. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_name

Solveig means Dawn in Norwegian. I was given that name for being born in Norway. My other middle names are Helena and Sara. I don't use them. In essence my real name is Edith Solveig Helena Sara Neu Baker. Phew, I feel like I am royalty.

Actually, I do have 2 surnames: Neu Baker. But I only use Baker. Unlike people in Spain, we do not (usually) use our mother's maiden names, but we can use our maiden name. Mine was Neu, and Baker is my married name.

I also have a middle name, it's Lisa-Marie but I dont like it really much so I prefer to be called just Lisa. My parents and my older sisters also have middle names but they dont use them too. I just have some aunts who still call me with both names...

Thanks, y'all! Glad I'm not the only one that cringes every time some tv bimbo interviewer calls him creepy. I think Barbara Walters on The View was the worst. She actually told him that he didn't look so creepy, he looked more like a schmuck. What an outrage. Either she's a complete b*tch, or is going senile. Totally unprofessional either way. And the ones that keep saying it. . .over and over. What the heck!? Can't they separate the actor from the fictional character!? And gswoody, I'm with you. I've never found Ben creepy. Frightening at times, but not creepy. Mostly he's riveting and enigmatic. And may i add to your list: gifted! and Sexy...
