LOL! Oh, man, that presents an image. Yeah, unless the person is absolutely too ugly to live, I prefer natural shots of anyone. They always 'shop the H outta cast pix. An Michael is naturally attractive. Doesn't need any 'shoppin'. ABC has very low opinion of its viewers. Have you seen their latest promo? It's INSULTING! ABC has nothing to do with the photoshopping of pics. It's becoming a huge controversy with ALL photos that end up in magazines and articles encompassing all life and entertainment. what's wrong the promo on tv??? just curious what makes it insulting.......... With all due respect, ABC releases the photos, it does have something to do with the photoshopping of the pics. Someone at corporate has to look at them and sign off on them. So ABC is party to the part. I noticed that they are wearing the same clothes as in the poster. So these are prolly the pix they took for that. Only Terry O'Quinn has something else on. What makes the promo insulting is that it playing off the romantic relationships in "Lost," which, IMO, have become really secondary to the show. Someone posted sarcastically on another forum that he "always loves a good romantic comedy." And that was my impression, the promo was presenting "Lost" as serious "Desperate Housewives." When you compare it to the Spanish promo, it really comes off as the U.S. producers/promoters having a very low opinion of the American viewers, and an alarming lack of imagination. |

I must say, I actually preferred these promo pics of Michael as they had IMHO photoshopped him less. but in reality, all bar the ones for S3 are dreadful- the one of him for S5 is particularly AWFUL! In the others they either make him look like the goblin thing in "Cat's eyes" that goes after Drew Barrymore or make him have no wrinkles/ facial lines at all so he looks feminine- and whats with getting rid of his slight "tummy" in the YBN ben pic? its rediculous. We like him as he is, why can't they just not photoshop him, or anyone lese?

That promo does suck! It looks like all the show is about is couples smooching and getting muddy and bloody! I also agree that it looks like ME has too much makeup on in the pics. His face is darker than his neck!

The ABC promo pics are always photoshopped to death. I hate the way they almost airbrush his whole face away.  Why?? We know very well his face, and we totally love it exactly the way it is. He's cute, sexy, and he looks way younger than his age, he needs no damn ABC airbrushing.  |

I totally 100% agree about airbrushing his face, it really annoys me coz it makes him look a bit odd, why can't they just show them how they are normally. He looks so gorgeous and sexy without all the airbrushing oooh it makes me so angry. And I agree he does look way younger than his age he always plays characters that are over 10 years younger than him. When I first looked him up on IMDB I literally thought that there was a mistake with his date of birth I thought no way is he in his fiftys more like forty's.  |

I thought no way is he in his fiftys more like forty's. LOL, I've double checked when the date of birth popped out on the screen ... I was sure he's 37 maybe 40, but no more ... that was the biggest shock about Michael I had . |

Same here that was a huge shock when I learned it was true about his age, in Lost his age is 45 which I thought was his real age but he looks late thirtys/early fortys to me, either way he's so sexy and always has such a cute cheeky look on his face I love when he does that sheepish look such as when Locke took Ben and Hurley to the pit with all the bodies of the Dharma Inititive and Hurley says "What happened to them?" and Locke says "He did". It's that look Ben gives that make me just quiver Ooooooh. |

Yeah, those photos of him by that German photographer is a real nice treatment. His skin looks best when it's really white.
