Michael already mentioned that he narrated the voice of George Washington in this documentary, so this isn't new news, but I came across this website about it, and couldn't find an existing thread. Those of you who visit NYC can watch it at "Hamilton Grange" when it re-opens in 2010. www.favoriteson-themovie.com/George Washington is fast becoming a hero of mine - so this is an excellent find indeed!! Thanks, Snivellus!! ;D

George Washington has ALWAYS been my hero: First in war, first in peace and first in the hearts of his countrymen. I am sort of trying to imagine Michael giving him voice. But if Michael can do everyone from Jack Burden to Tiny Duffy to Willie Stark, I imagine he could muster the father of our country.

There was some mention on a recent Lost podcast that Michael was going to play a puritan governor - Winthrop, I think, but I might be wrong - in a PBS production - does anybody know anything about this? I'd love to see it!!
Yes, George Washington is just awesome. So dignified in every way - I wish he were still president. Not that I dislike Obama, but George...WOW. They don' t make leaders like that very often.
