Hey, grab it while it's offered, baby. That stuff doesn't come around that often.

I'm glad that I don't have their life-I wouldn't know what to do, being surrounded by so many expensive, fancy things and events. My entire family would also hate me and call me names to each other, the nicest being, "spoiled." LOL not if you gave them some of the gifts you didn't want!

What is a suite-a-phobic? What does it mean?

What is a suite-a-phobic? What does it mean? In this context, the "suite" is the place they go to get freebies that advertizers give the actors. For instance, they may get free T-shirts (we are talking expensive material here), iPod, etc. So, in essence, Carrie is saying that Michael is afraid of the place that gives out these goodies. He doesn't like to go and get them.

I must admit, it's very sweet that he doesn't feel the need to go to these places

That is nice. I'm guessing he doesn't feel a great need to stuff his closets with stuff he's learned to live without. It's pretty standard for these outfits to hand out the high-end goodies. It does seem over the top for most of us, but likely most of these goods were trade-out-at-cost items, I'm guessing, and given that most goods are marked up on retail at about 200% and up, it looks richer than it prolly is. (Think Nike shoes. They can make them for around $36 or so, but sell some models for more than $200.) So while most of us are thinking retail prices, the actual cost to the venders/hosts is prolly a lot less.

thanks Edith for explaining, I thought it meant he was affraid of wearing a suit LOL, no wonder why it didn't make much sense :S
I didn't even know stuff like that happened, I mean I know celebrities get free stuff all the time but not in organized events where you take whatever you want and it's all expensive stuff.
