I rented the TV series, Wonderfalls, last night and as I was watching it all of the sudden who do I see? Carrie Preston! Carrie plays a nun who has run away from her convent. She is brilliant in it as she is in all of her roles. The episode she is in is one the first disc of the first season, "Wind Up Penguin". I love how she keeps popping up in all of these shows. By the way, Wonderfalls is a great show. Diana Scarwid is also in it, she played Isabel on LOST, and I know there are some fans of her here. Waves hand, I am an Isabel fan. She was my favorite next to Ben on the show. I think it's a shame they're not putting her talent to good use. I instantly wanted to know all about her. I saw her almost as a female version of Ben.

From the first time she came on the screen at Jack's cage I was in awe of her and I'm usually not like that with actresses. It might sound a bit odd but I thought, "Wow, I want to be just like her!". She had that calm confidence that Ben has and seemed like she was ten steps ahead of everyone else.

It would have been so cool if they had pursued her further.

I loved Isobel as well. She was one of the redeeming characters in Stranger In A Strange Land, IMO. Made up for Bai Ling.

Here is an except that kind of shocked me. “Those are frustrating episodes, because again, conceptually, you think, that could be cool. This was Jack trying to drop out. And did we miscast Bai Ling? Probably. Was that the wrong flashback story considering the island story was Jack locked in a cage? It was episode nine and we’re still in the cages? We also miscast the woman who was the sheriff of the Others. So it’s these cool ideas [that stumble in the execution].”WTF? Isabel was one of the best casting decisions they ever made.

Wow, I can't believe that. I loved Isabel. She was so cool. Can you post the link to that interview. I'd love to read it. (And then, pass it on.)

Gah.... it's no longer available. I wonder whether she pissed one of the producers off. I never heard any fan complaining about her. She fit in so beautifully in the worldl of the Others. She was enigmatic, manipulative, and confident. Maybe we should start writing to them to revive her. They are assuming her dead. Then again, I don't think that they want to rehash the story of the Others. They are now concentrating on the freighter people. Luckily, Michael was able to make his role significant enough that he wasn't killed off.

I still can't believe they just said she's dead, deal with it! At least tie up her story some how. I know they are kind of moving away from the Others but I'm still hoping against hope that we see her in a flashback.
