As many of our members told you before, Ben is a fictional character. He doesn't exist in the real world. He does exist in the world of LOST. Michael Emerson is the person who portrays him in the show. And I have to say that he does a great and convincing job of portraying Ben and, I might add, Henry Gale. After all, you like us, appreciate the character as if it were among us.

Well, Edna (great name, btw, my mom's name was Edna), given that Ben lives on an island that is constantly moving in time and space, I'm not sure it's possible for those of us rooted in time and space to actually sent mail to anyone there. However, it might be possible to send to someone in the Hanso Foundation or the Dharma Initiative (if there's anybody home there anymore). Hey, I had an aunt Edna.
The name always makes me think of eggplant.
Which is weird, because other than starting with an "e" and having two syllables, there's nothing very similar about the name and the vegetable. Edward doesn't make me think of eggplant. Edith doesn't make me think of eggplant. And I can't think of any other names I associate with vegetables. Except maybe Carrot Top.
And now I'm really confused and wish I had never started thinking about this.
