JO!I`m still crying thinking about the Finale. I`m listening to Giacchino's music and yesterday I re-watched the bonus feature from S4 DVDs about Giacchino`s music and this made me cry all over again Have you re-watched the finale yet? I keep telling myself I will when I feel more emotionally ready, but I'm not quite sure I'll ever reach that point...LOL...is it weird to feel this strongly about a television show? I always felt that LOST was like a great classical book. You don't want to put it down and you don't want it to end, but you can't wait to see how it will end. Also, once you finish the book, you can't stop thinking about it. Right now, I feel like I'm in mourning. I am so sad that the characters I fell in love with (and that includes EVERYONE) are gone.

And it`s more than just an ordinary TV show, it`s a whole world. I`m in mourning too. I feel like a part of me died and for those 5 years (in my country it started in July 2005) those chracters became as close as...relatives...

Yes, you're both spot-on - it's an entire world that we have lost, and I for one felt at times like I was living in it. Mourning is the perfect word for this feeling, Edith. I have never felt this way about a fictional universe before, except maybe Harry Potter, but even that ending didn't break my heart quite as much as Lost did. I'm so glad I'm not alone in this feeling. Hrmm....we have become a connected community of souls as well as the Lost characters, haven't we?

Is everybody else still crying? I haven't really stopped since Sunday...I have Giacchino's score stuck in my head and it makes be cry like a wee baby, because then I think of the finale, and it's a vicious cycle... I bought season 1 soundtrack - I've been in tears at least once a day, soemtimes twice - esp when bringing up Ben's storyline
