The website has said for a while now that they're trying to make a trailer for the movie. Ah, good news! They'll have it up soon! The website used to only be green with the movie title on it and now they have a picture, so they're making some progress. www.readyokmovie.com/Thank you for this link. I like the picture posted. Says a lot.

Awww, this movie looks great, and I really mean that I'm glad that by the looks of the billing order Michael has a substantial role. I noticed too that they are seeking festival distribution from imdb.com. Is this where the movie is screened and picked up by distributors? I sometimes like gay interest films too, but often in the US some of the more minor indie ones only end up getting shown at a few cinemas in New York or California. Last year I went to see Whole New Thing which was only showing in one theater in the US at that time (The Quad in Manhattan). I was the only young person in there and I was quite a sight with a fluffy pink coat and Hello Kitty bag when the theater was packed with very serious much older gay males ;D Oh, and I totally agree that they need to update their website for Ready? Ok! From that one picture we can't see Carrie properly or Michael, LOL.

[deleted text] Interesting that you should say that Michael may have a substantial role. He says that he has a realitively minor role. I can hardly wait to see it. He looks like a nebbish in the pictures that I have of him portraying this role. It should be fun to see him interpret that type of character. Yes, they are trying to get distributors. Usually, it is very difficult to get distributed.

Hey there - first time poster here, but longtime ME fan.
I happen to have some insider info on Ready? OK! (Ok, truth be told, I'm part of the production team). We're a small production company, doing the majority of the work ourselves - so be patient with us. Tasks that usually have a team working on them, in our case, have only a few people taking them on. The website update is in the works. We hope to 'officially' launch the site in a few weeks. We're scheduled to make our world premiere on April 17th as the closing night film of the San Diego Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. Then, we'll embark on a festival tour (hopefully in a city near you!) that will take us through the year. Ready? OK! has a nice crossover appeal, so we imagine (and hope) to be playing more than just gay/lesbian film fests.
Michael is great is the movie - very sweet and different than Ben Linus. He's definitely got a nice supporting role - about 5 or 6 scenes - a couple of them important scenes. And, in one of them, (prepare yourself) he cheers!
Thanks for the enthusiasm! We think it's a really sweet, subtle, and important movie - Carrie and Michael (and the rest of the cast) are phenomenal. We are in fact working on a trailer - which will be posted on the website, hopefully sooner than later - so keep checking back in!

Keep us posted as soon as possible. I can put any adverts you'd want on Michael's unofficial site. I am doing that for his other independent movie: Jumping Off Bridges.
If you want, you can e-mail me any logos and viewing dates. My e-mail is not hidden.

Working on my skit, I totally understand and have an increased appreciation for how long the process is in making and editing a film. I now understand why the crew and directors cheer and are happy after completing a scene; After dealing with weather changes and time restraints, it's a relief to get something accomplished. Michael is great is the movie...He's definitely got a nice supporting role - about 5 or 6 scenes - And, in one of them, (prepare yourself) he cheers! ;D That sounds hilarious!

Thanks so much for that update, Otis33. Makes me even more anxious to see the movie.
Once again the words "Michael" and "sweet" appear together. Should prolly just be part of his name. LOL!

I checked Carrie's IMDb and found out that "Ready? OK!" is now listed as "completed" and is no longer listed as being in post-production; The trailer's still not up, yet.

Hi, the movie remind me on a little film, I saw years ago "The dress code" with Shirley Mc Laine, Jenny Tilly and Gary Sinise. I think NY is like our German town Berlin, everyone stays open and sexual orientation is a part of it. During my studies (times) I shared more time with gays, because it´s an artistic occupational area. You can`t choose your love interests..... Happy to see this movie soon. greetings Martina

This movie reminds me of another movie called, "Billy Elliot," a British film about a young boy who dreams of becoming a dancer, but his family disapproves.
