Flummery,
Regarding your avi. It occured to me that, as talented and detail oriented as Michael is, sometimes the physicality of a character is just the reflex of the actor.
Look how he's holding the Bunry. Ok, the actor-bunny handler must have told him to hold it by the scruff of the neck so it wouldn't squirm from his grasp. Fine.
But look how warm and maternal his other hand is cradling Bunry's rabbit-butt. He's a big ol' softy isn't he?
You can't buy that kinda hott, no siree!

I have to admit the scruff thing did make me cringe. That bun's probably used to being handled that way, though. I was quite relieved by the cradling. Michael must be a softy, yup. And he's brave, too. You have to be careful with those rabbit butts, 'cause they can be used as weapons. I can't tell you how many owners have succumb to the violence of poop-shooting. I sure hope Number 8 didn't direct any...violence...at Michael.

Could it be that the bunny was an animatrix bunny?
Michael is still gentle and soft with the critter.

Doodles are my favorite. They're fun to do, they're fun to see; they're creative, and they leave some things to the imagination. Clearly, doodles are the shiznit. ;D

Oh, that's hilarious!! Dharma-bunny poop shooter!!
I'm a cat lady so I assumed grabbing the scruff was ok. You're our resident rabbit-ologist, flummery!
I see in your previous post on this thread that you noticed the cradling, too. Real men baby their bunnies for sure!
sigh
Ain't he just dreamy??

Dreamy, indeed. ;D I'm really not sure that scruff handling is harmful in any way. I know it's standard for lab rabbits. In this case, it was probably much safer the way Michael was made to do it, lest the bunny try to make an escape. I just instantly imagined picking up one of my little bunnies that way. They wouldn't be used to it. They'd probably be fine, but it would break my heart. I have a hard enough time just getting up the courage to trim their nails.

xD I'm kind of surprised that the shaking part isn't the more debated bunry treatment.

xD I'm kind of surprised that the shaking part isn't the more debated bunry treatment. Maybe because Ben did the shaking?

I was bothered by the shaking. However, I knew that the bunny was not really shaken. They either had a dummy bunny (an animatrix bunny) or it was done digitally after the fact. When Michael picked up the bunny, it was a real bunny.

It is not wrong to pick up bunnys by the scruff of their neck. Here's a quote from a site I found, Bunny Behavior 101: The entire article is available here: www.hopaloosa.com/bunny_behavior.html
