Sometimes I forget that not everyone is like you guys. I posted about Lost somewhere else. All I said was that I'm a Benry fan, and I get this: "I hate Benry and his twitchy self. He's creepy" "The guy who plays Benry does do an amazing job being so repulsive. " "Benry just gives me the creeps." "Ben is evil!!!! I hope Jack lets him die. He'll be doing the others a favor."  Geez, I knew people usually think of him as a bad guy, but wow. I'm happy I have this place to come to and get away from that stuff. Even if we are all a little Fancrazy here.  |

Other forums can be just nasty! I'd like to think that we are a welcoming, congenial bunch of people who would accept any kind comments for anybody on the show. I certainly hope Michael hears more about people like us than flamers like them.

Ditto that. It's weird reading about how people see him in public and move away or whatever, whereas I'd have an ear-to-ear grin and barely be able to contain myself.  |

I know what you mean. On Lost-Forum people are always saying stuff like that. And then there's me who always says the opposite and people are always like "ZOMGZ!!1 U THNK DAT HEZ HAWT?! U CRAZY!!1" or something to that effect.

Well, we're complex individuals, yes? Michael's off kilter looks, multidimensional characters, intense performances and his unpredictable personality make him oh-so alluring. If he were a rugged, Josh Holloway-type, we wouldn't be so captivated by him. I'm glad we all found each other. Big hug right back at ya!  |

Mike's freaking brilliant! Smart = Yum. Sometimes It feels like I'm not bright enough to even be a fan.  I'm always amazed .. you folks are so smart and yer' a blast to chat with. I wish I could contribute info/pics/etc.. more, but you guys are always a few steps ahead o' me. ;D Thanks everyone!  |

I get made fun of all the time by friends and family because I think Michael Emerson is a brilliant actor and delicious eye candy. But when I'm feeling down I can always check the board and feel right at home. Thanks everyone!  |

Sadly, I'm the only one enjoys Michael's looks as well as his performance, in my general area of living. So it was such a relief and not to mention amazing when I found this site, I fell in love with it instantly. you guys ROCK!

*laughs* i've had that same experience, people who are totally mystified by my attraction to him - but at the same time, i've also had people say OH THANK GOD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE! personally, i like being attracted to the unlikely ones - leaves more for me! |

You know what, even if Ben is bad, every story needs to have it's characters. I think Mike is playing the character extremely well.
In interviews he even says he doesn't know where they guy lies. Give him even more credit to make something out of hardly knowing anything.
Personally, I like Ben's character. He's intriguing because there's that mysteriousness surrounding him and yet I see a bit of internal conflict brewing. Makes me want to see more of the character wherever he stands.
