This is an idea I've been kicking around... sending him a photograph, but moving it to the far left of the page, leaving substantial white space. Attached would be a note explaining that *guiltless manipulation* ;D my birthday is next month (true), and the only thing I want is for him to draw something - anything - in the extra space, and sign his name by that. I'd tell him how much I and all of you have wanted to see his artwork, but that we've kind of resigned ourselves to never seeing it. Since I'd ask on your behalf as well, hopefully it wouldn't be quite as selfish a request.
What do you think? I think he might do it. But it probably wouldn't be serious - something like a picture of him sunning himself beneath a tropical tree. (To combat this I might add, half-jokingly, "Now you know that this will probably be the only representation of your artwork that your fans will ever see.")
Thoughts? I definitely won't do this unless you guys give me a green light.

well, I think this is a good idea, henryrocks  would be awesome if he does that! though, I'm not that long in the 'fandom' yet, so I can't say how he'd react or whether it's appropriate to ask ^_^; |
