One extremely interesting point in the letter is how fans and reporters are more interested in asking about Lost, Ben, and the creepy part of the characters, and not about Michael the man. I suppose that is an easy trap to fall into- admittingly, my Michael fandom started more because of Ben, and I only learned more about the actual person later. I guess mentioning that really got to him too.

I guess mentioning that really got to him too. I think another problem is that it is hard to ask questions that may not sound like you are probing in the actor's personal life. There is a fine line between knowing the person and finding certain things that the actor does not want you to know. |

This fact that Michael has written the letter for the fans characterizes him as the benevolent person.. Though... Any actor works first of all for spectators.. Actor's playing means publicity.. Otherwise it is not meaningful..
