i saw him crossing the street walking towards me today...
was about 6pm, around 34th street and 8th avenue in manhattan...
accross the street from madison square garden.
he had on glasses and had a bag with him but it was the eyes and the hairline...
i was like no way so - as he walked by me - i said, "hey!" "ben!"
(i couldn't remember his real name)
so he comes over to me and we talked for like 2 minutes.
mostly me rambling about how big a fan i am but still...
he was a really cool guy...just like they say.

made an ass of myself! was near 68th st walking my golden retriever, and then i saw THE EYES coming toward me...which are uh....largely distictive?! so, i have been netflixing all 3 seasons of lost for weeks now, and watching him daily-i totally freaked out!! i stopped, POINTED my finger at his face (to which he giggled), and said, "OH MY GOD!!".

nice way to react to an actor who i think is incredible and fascinating..ugh.

well, if he ever reads this: you are gold micheal, can't wait for season 4 lost, you are totally insense (o:

I found Leslie Langee's blog. She was the actress who played Mrs. Turner in Jumping Off Bridges. This is what she wrote about Michael:

Fantastic Talent!!

Today was my first rehearsal for the film. Finally I got to see what my film family is about and I couldn't be happier! My Michael Conway, my film husband is wonderful, funny and giving as an actor. Already, I hope we can work together on upcoming projects. My film kids Glen and Leslie Powell, remind me of happy tumbly puppies. Eager, excited and full of "now" and running to the future.

The other actors are also so talented.

Anne Nabors, the actress who plays Mrs. Nelson, is so beautiful and graceful, I can't wait to get to know her a little bit more.

Michael Emerson, who has been brought in from NY is absolutely phenomenal. Once I discovered who he was, I was really intimidated to work with him. Within seconds into our scene though that changed and instead of feeling scared I felt inspired. I'll have to tell him sometime that he gave me a little gift without even knowing it. Inspiration.

ahh, I love acting.

You know, I think he does. But I think he realizes, like many gifted people, that it's no guarantee of success or happiness. And he doesn't let it go to his head and lose touch with other people. I think he's definitely a people person. He genuinely likes being around people. Not all artists are. Heck, not all people are like that.

Indoor lighting isn't doing either of them any favors. Yellow always adds a cast to the complexions, but aside from that he does look tired. I hope he's OK.
