BTW, iTunes is fully downloaded and FREE to PC as well as Mac users and this podcast is free too, so you just need to download the iTunes and install it (pretty much does itself) and then go to the store and search for "Strawberry Alarm Clock" You'lll get some choices, and the choice you want, as I understand it is Adrian Kennedy open mike. I'll keep checking for updates. In fact, I'll just subscribe to the podcast so the updates will come automatically.
namaste and good luck and sorry about the confusion there

I'm not familiar with the workings of iTunes... does it automatically download onto my computer the Michael Emerson interview (when it airs) if I subscribe to the podcast?

yup. My brother a PC addict inadvertantly downloaded iTunes because I sent him a file that had an iTunes link. Once he saw well iTunes worked, he was hooked. Next thing was buying an iPod. Cracked me up. I NEVER thought I'd see the day he'd cave for ANY apple product. iTunes really works that well.

I've always been very anti-iPod (what can I say, I'm a bit miffed when people I'm trying engage in conversation can't hear me because they're plugged in), but recently I've been wondering if I ought to get one myself... if they're good enough for Greg House, I suppose they're good enough for me.

Totally understand the whole lack of good etiquette when people are iPoding. In fact same goes for cell phone stuff. Most folks I know do not need to take that call, and if they do, then I guess our chat isn't that important and usually they don't remember the conversation they had with you, but they're also checking their cell phones. it's like people have become afraid of real conversation and go into denial when they're having one.

I'm terminally afraid of real conversation (my domain is the Internet - socialising in real life is horribly difficult for me), and now it's even more daunting when people you're talking to can't and/or won't hear you.
I have a love-hate relationship with technology, as you can probably tell.

many of us do. I love it but I also hate that it takes up so much of my time. An hour spent here is an hour Idon't read, and I love reading. GAK! What's a person to do, because I don't want to miss things going on here and other boards either.

Don't get me started on the years I've lost to the Internet.
*takes to the stand*
"My name is Henry (well, not really), and I'm a hopeless net-addict."
There is not a moment in my day when I'm not sitting here, eyes practically glued to the computer screen - unless I go out, and that happens so infrequently it doesn't really make much of a difference.

I wonder if he is able to give one interview without using his favourite word "ambiguity". Just strikes me everytime how often he uses that. ;D According to the site, the podcast is updated once a week, so might take a while until it is on itunes. I love my ipod, it´s one of the best inventions ever! I use public transport to go to work and nothing better than listening to your favourite music while sitting in a train. I also love it when flying home, the music on the airplane channels is just so horrible I also listen to some podcasts and I think I just go used to the fact that people starr at me, when I suddenly start laughing (for them it looks like I am crazy) ;D You gotta go out more people! The real world is far more interesting than the cyber one! I couldn´t sit at home all day, I have been straight after work on Friday to an Exhibition of the First Emporer of China, been to the cinema, (1408, loved it) and I am going to the Moon Festival today, you gotta love the outside world!

The new iPod Touch is phenomenal! The internet browsing via WIFI is out of this world - seriously I've never seen a user interface like it. I guess I should add that I'm a Mac Addict, but that doesn't cloud my judgement on how a product works - it still has to do what it says on the box, even if that box is a lovely Apple one ;D Also the new Nano is pretty damn cool - much better in real life than it looks in pictures and TV ads.

You could go on their site and click "listen live," around 6:30pm EST; That's what I'm going to do. www.fm104.ie/

OT, but i can't live without my ipod. i guess i'm one of those people who always has the earphones stuck in her ear. but i'm usually watching LOST on my ipod. i've watched MBTC countless times in class. yup, in class.
