You're torturing us (or mostly her ), Edith!! ...would Mike eat at Burger King though? He seems too distinguished, maybe hmm...I don't know that the arms look quite right. I could see him eating at Burger King for the fun of it. Where else could he get away with such a "fine" restaurant and not be recognized?

It is a bit unbelievable that a guy like him has attained this level of celebrity. I mean, let's face it, he's incredibly talented, but really is more the theatre type, I think. He doesn't soak up the spotlight like a - well, for all her bluster, Evangeline Lilly, for example. He's a bit baffled by it and so am I. A wonderful, sweet, gentle guy to be sure, but he's too - intelligent for all the hype, I think. In my mind, he'd trade it for an assuredly stable theatre career in a moment. And that's why we love him

That's another reason why I think we might not see Ben survive Season 4. He might just want to go back to theater or the independent, small films that he does. I wouldn't blame him. But I would miss him (I don't get to NY a lot).

In Germany he won't be recognized that easily... Cause the third season will be aired to the end of August and if there are some people here who are watching Lost they only know the half-dead Henry Gale with his scars and wounds... But I'm not sure if there's another Michael-Emerson-Freak around here xD But Michael eating a burger... I think he's not the type for that. I hope for Michael that Ben survives the 4th season! >_< If not, I will send him a huge package ... with me in it and then I will complain and complain until he begs for a role in the 5th season... >_<

I think the specific word used was "sandwich" - that I can see him eating.

This evening, I went to a coffee shop, a little place that I visit regularly to do some writing. There was this Spanish couple that I had never seen before, which is strange because in my town everyone knows everyone. Anyway, I was talking to the barista about Lost, specifically Ben, and they over heard our conversation. The woman jumped out of her chair, bee-lined right to my table, and grabbed my face. I was so startled by what she had to say that I almost choked on my very breath. She said, "oh goodness, you're Michael Emerson! My husband and I just love you!" After giving her a huge hug for such a wonderful compiment, I explained to her that I was not Michael, and that I am actually significantly younger than him. Though I guess I did look rather aged since I hadn't been able to sleep for the passed two days. I guess my waistcoat and round glasses threw her off. She was so embarrassed, but I told her that she was a goddess for making my day. It was an absolutely brilliant evening, so I thought I would share.

Wow, you bear a resemblance to Michael? I am positively envious of you!
You're going to have to post a picture of yourself one day, Benjamin.
And watch out for the thundering herd of fangirls!

I'm sorry to let you all down, but I don't think I actually look that much like him. However, this picture was taken a few years ago, when I didn't have glasses, and before I started doing the Emerson hair-do... I guess there are some similar qualities in facial structure...but I really don't know how she mistook me for him. Though, I really don't care, because that was one heck of a compliment.
